Well, well, well, if it isn’t the crankshaft sensor—quiet, unassuming, but oh-so-essential when things start to get *spicy* under the hood. This little beauty doesn’t just sit around looking pretty; it knows how to get things *purring* like a kitten. You think you can run your engine without it? Honey, good luck with that. It's the unsung hero of the ignition system, and trust me, it knows exactly when to turn things on.You see, this sensor is all about timing—like a lover who knows just when to push your buttons (or in this case, your engine’s). Slip it into place, and it works its magic, giving the engine exactly what it needs to ignite at just the right moment. No more misfires, no more awkward moments. It’s smooth, steady, and always *on point*—like you after a few rounds of practice. And when it’s time to give the throttle a little more *action*, the crankshaft sensor’s there to make sure everything’s in sync. It’s like the ultimate partner, knowing just how to get your engine revved up and ready for action—no questions asked. So, if you're looking for that perfect little piece to bring everything together, the crankshaft sensor’s got your back. It’s cheeky, it’s reliable, and it’s always ready to take your engine to the next level. Don’t leave home without it—your car will thank you.

If you have a fault where the engine momentarily cuts out and then carries on, just coughs really, then this is the starting of crank sensor failure. This will then move on to the engine cutting out and it will crank but not start. After a while, it will randomly start again and continue as though nothing was wrong. No fault codes stored and no EML on dash. If this is you, your crank sensor needs renewing. It's easily accessible and is held in by 1 bolt. Febi make the original ones for Land Rover, so save yourself £100+ and do it yourself. Hope that helps someone out there.

Macht was er machen soll. Motor läuft wieder ruhig. Sollte er sich verabschieden, werde ich dann die erreichte Laufleistung nachtragen.
