I've tried hooking this up to my 16Gal Craftsman shop vac. The necks aren't long enough in some circumstances and you need to buy other adapters to get the setup you want - at least the setup I want. Those limitations made me conclude that this item is just OK. I will say that I probably wouldn't have purchased it knowing what I know now.

I had a hard time finding an adapter for my dust collection hose. I then read somewhere that this was one that is needed for a Fein vacuum. It works perfectly making the transition from the vacuum to my cyclone dust separator. Easily disconnected if necessary.
