I am giving this 5 stars because it is of solid quality and construction. To be honest I thought it was something else and ordered it based on the picture. I thought this was standard garden hose size, however it is smaller. Just keep this in mind if ordering based of picture alone.

This review evaluates the “Brass G1/4 to NPT Pressure Washer Fitting” made by FGDCHNJ.The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging. There is not much to this item out of the bag: one (1) brass G1/4 to NPT pressure washer fitting.First impressions: The fitting is made of heavy brass and the male and female thread components connect/disconnect smoothly. The casting of the fitting is smooth with good-quality threads. The fitting is not pressure rated but is made out of thick brass; similar fittings by others are rated at 5,000 PSI and I’d be comfortable using it to that pressure based on its quality. I connected it to my pressure washer with Teflon tape and there were no leaks.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am satisfied with the product. It is made from quality brass and functions well. At a current price of $20.00, I feel it is priced high when compared to competitors despite it being a specialty brass fitting. A price point of approximately $12-$15 would be more representative of the quality and functionality delivered.In summary: the “Brass G1/4 to NPT Pressure Washer Fitting” made by FGDCHNJ is made from good quality brass and functions well. I used Topas aerosol generator for PIV, and they have lot of G1/4 fitting. We use NPT in north america and NPT is simply more convenient for us because of wide availability.I also use G1/4 for an oil plug for my Pfeiffer Vacuum, this is handy so you don't need to order from Europe.
