My issue with this item is it’s so runny!! I have the Same product in black and it’s a lot thicker. I find it hard to use and get a professional seal on the handles. It just won’t build.

Contrary to expectations, this is a very very runny product. It has consistency of water. You will need to apply multiple layers (and I mean MULTIPLE) to achieve any effect.I guess it works great for creating new products, but for restoration it's a hassle to match the existing leather edge thickness.

I use this for edge coating raw edges on my cork purses and wallets. Applies easily and prevents wear and fraying. Not as viscous as coloured edge kote so you’ll need more applications to achieve smooth result

I apply this with a Q tip for my calfskin leather bag because the handles were cracked, it looks white and dries completely clear. I let it dry (~10min) and do another layer, repeat until the cracks are filled. Thanks Fiebings, i saved hundreds of dollars!!
