I really like these mounts. I have them on several of my AR/LR based builds. Since my builds are fixed with larger scopes, size 50 diameter opticals, I have to use 1/2" rail riser mounts to put the center of the scopes at my eye level for clear and centered viewing. Using fixed mounting risers in conjunction with these QD mounts insures scopes are installed in the exact same placement every time they are taken off the rifle for cleaning and storage. This is some times a must when using "Soft" type rifle cases in particular. They do hold position and scope position nicely even with rifles with heavier recoil. Nice mounts and a great value at the price!
