I ordered 2 of these , upon opening the first one I found a spit in the hose just near the inlet fitting, when I hooked up the second one ,it leaked like a sieve at the inlet fitting where it meets the hose, I found the material of the hose was just awful quality, the fittings on the end were so flimsy and soft I found it hard to believe . I threw both of them in the trash and choked it up to a lesson learned.

I ordered 2 hoses because I wanted to connect them to make 50ft coverage. One of them leaks from the joint between the plastic hose and the connector. The second hose has uneven holes so the water shoots out from the first half of the hose but water doesn’t move freely through the second half of hose.Both hoses are seriously defective. I would have returned them but how do you send wet items containing leaking water back through the mail? Where ever they are made, manufacture is very poorly done.

I purchases this produce after having gone through numerous cheaper ones that I picked up from Bunnings over the years. I generally found that those were very thin and generally only lasted a season before they got a hole in them and they stopped working (unless you were super gentle with them).The Flexon hose is significantly sturdier. It's made from a material comparable to a moderate to high quality garden hose. The brass fittings are well made and it comes with extra seals.I got this on sale which made it 5 starts for sure in terms of quality and value. At full price I'd go 4 starts. So wait for a sale and then don't hesitate to pick one up.

This seems to be a very good quality hose. I have used it on one side of the backyard perimeter. The spray gets into part of the yard where the inground sprinkler does not quite reach, so not only does it water the foundation of the house and the flowerbed, it gets out into the yard as well. I have another brand that I bought on Amazon, but it is very thin and tears very easily. 2 of them had to be replaced in less than 2 months. I replaced the second one with this hose and could not be happier. The thickness of the hose is great, and it really sprays far. This has made watering the backyard very easy. I will be buying a couple of more of these as replacements for the other cheap quality ones.
