The throw weight bag, as stated by other reviews, is waay too fat to fit through a 45mm ID crotch saver/false crotch ring. The line is also very stiff plasticky feeling with lots of memory. Might get used occasionally as a last resort, but won't work for what I planned on using it for. The storage bag is big enough to fit the like OK. But otherwise it is a junky kit.

This set up works great for my needs. The weighted bag seems well stitched and has held up great with my use every weekend playing radio. The cordage seems a little stiff at first but after using for a few weekends, it’s relaxed and is far easier to coil and work with.

This works well enough. However, the bag is so small, the line just barely fits. I must remove and untangle the line to use. It takes a while to stuff back into the bag. For these lines, my next set up will be a bag that holds much more line than I put in it. If you are just starting and little funds, it does the job.

Bag is TOO Big by 1/8" to fit through Large Hole of Standard Friction Saver... Tried to fix, but irrepairable.Intended to cut a small opening, remove some 'sand' and stitch back up. During the process, discovered it has an inner membrane that appears to be filled with soft metal beads (lead? some other hazardous heavy metal? ...thus the requirement for a membrane?). At this point I don't feel safe repairing it without the membrane intact.Contacted seller and requested a throw bag to dimensions that would actually fit a friction saver. Response from Seller, MGP Supply:"All of the Forester Throw bags are designed the same way and not designed to use with a friction saver like the Botch or Buckingham versions. These are designed for introductory users that are not using friction savers.As for the materials in these throw bags, there is a rubber membrane inside that holds the metal beads similar to the Weaver brands. This design of bag has been a staple bag for the Forester brand for over 15 years with no types of Modifications being made to them. Since this is the case sending a new throw bag is only going to be getting you the same product that you already received."MGP Supply: just because something has been a "staple" for 15 years, doesn't mean it can't be improved, and still didn't answer the question about what is inside!
