Bits seem to work well, other than the 1mm Tapered Ball Nose bit that broke using conservative settings. The 1/4" aingle flute is a beast though, due to a jam on the X axis it plowed through 12+mm of solid white oak for about 1/2 an inch before I could hit the e-stop and it seemed totall unfazed or damaged by the experience. Would like to replace that one bit, but not sure if they even sell it separately, and not sure I'd want to invest in another one after the experience with this one. I expected it to be more durable for the price. Happy with the rest of the set.

This is a good value pack if you consider the number of bits and the value being given at the price point. If you have a CNC or hand router and you need to collect a number of bits, this is a good place to start.The shanks are generally smooth and finished to a medium grind level. Not quite polished, but smooth and well executed. The protective coating on the non spiral bits is applied well with no flaking or problems. The carbide cutters on those bits are medium thickness, and they appear to be well brazed. Edges are consistent with no flaws.The spiral bits are also well executed. Nice tight spirals with consistent edges, albeit it gets hard to measure sharpness at the tips. No flaws and a blue coating that is intended to protect against overheating (and thus dulling the edges). It would take quite a while for me to determine how well this works as I use hand routers and router tables at the moment.The small collet is machined properly. I don't have anything that takes it so I can't comment on how it works. The box is also quite nice, but I generally store router bits in larger toolboxes. For beginners this would be a nice kit since it gives you a ton of bits plus a box for a reasonable price.

These CNC router bits are of exceptional quality. They are perfectly formed with no visible imperfections. The cutting edges are very sharp, and the tungsten carbide coating makes them very durable. I got these for use in a CNC machine with 1/8" collet with an adapter, and the quality and performance is world's better than the bits that came with the machine. They also come packaged in a nice case. Each individual bit has it's own case inside the main case, protecting the bits from bumping against anything and being damaged. This set is not cheap, but it would be difficult to purchase this large of an assortment in 1/4-inch for this price, especially of this high quality.
