If you did the training sessions, you'll be in known territories. The only annoying thing that puts me off is the way exercices and workouts are laid out. It's text only, with no headers, etc. which make them very hard to use as it. You'll have to rewrite your own stuff. Pictures and/or a more visual way to present them would be a huge improvement.

I have the 1976 edition. I liked the concept. I tried but I found it difficult to follow the book as I was working on my own. But this new updated version is much better. I've only got my copy late this afternoon. I think it's fantastic. I think I'll be able to do the exercises on my own. They are explained in greater detail which is just what you need. Linklater often talks about minute, very subtle sensations that occur in the body and that you should be feeling when you're doing the exercises. I think it's easier to feel something, however small, when your awareness has been raised to this level. In this edition, she has made everything much clearer and she guides you on how to use this book. I feel like she is holding my hand and guiding me in this work. The layout of the book is great. It's interspersed with big, bold headings and awesome illustrations. If you're interested in freeing your natural voice, you can buy this book from Amazon. Their prices are good. Their service, particularly their after sale service, is amazing. Abigail.
