This youth size is small for a child that is maybe a petite child about 7 or 8 yrs old. The hood size is the limiting factor. It fits the smaller kids about the size shown on the picture of the package. I bought the youth size for my daughter who is 12yrs old. Way too small. I bought the adult size for me (5’2” 135lbs) way too big! I don’t understand how there is only 2 sizes a youth and an adult size (which is way too big). The fabric is easily torn not very durable. It ripped just by me unsnapping the poncho case from the cardboard sleeve. It’s basically like a felt backed plastic tablecloth material with snaps I wouldn’t consider this reusable maybe once or twice

We used these at Disney and they worked awesome. They fit back into their holder easily and were lightweight.

Love that this poncho can EASILY be placed back into the carry pouch. The one my son had prior was a pain to get back in and never could get it all the way by himself. He likes that while he's away at camp he can get the poncho easily in and out without fuss by himself. He likes the comfort and says it feels "fresh".
