First of all: It is NOT a edge counter!In short: Buy something else which has a data sheet and wiring diagram.It constantly increases the counter when 0V (!!!) is applied to the blue wire, or decreases when the black one is used. When a positive voltage (24V in this case) is applied to a counter wire it will create a short cicuit and the thing will be destroyed instantly. Every other pin acts the same and is 0V sensitive, except the "switch pulse" pin 5 which does not do anything noticeable. I connected it to both 0 and 24V (with 10k resistor) and tried to increase the counter with the blue wire (again 0 and 24V with 10k resistor) but the behaviour stayed the same. Completely useless for normal projects.
