I think these would be nice for a beach, but frankly I am not sure they would be comfortable (or to mention, aesthetically pleasant) due to a large size. I have not tested whether they actually float, but I am not sure it will be comfortable to walk around with a large thing attached to my glasses like that. With that being said, it is a very lightweight piece. the product picture either had very large glasses, or shows a deceitfully small floater. Look at my picture, this thing looks huge on my glasses. The nicer part is that these come in a set of three, so you can either share or use for several pairs of glasses. Perhaps a better idea would be to make them smaller, and use one piece on each side, instead of one bulky piece on one side. Not sure if I would recommend these, mainly due to the size.

These are very lightweight and will not bother you if attached properly to your glasses (the foam float should be on the outside of the eyeglass frame). They should work well on most pairs of sunglasses, reader glasses, or prescription glasses except for possibly the heaviest prescription lenses.I found that the rubber bands were just a little loose on my reader glasses frame. I gave the band a little twist when attaching to take up some of the slack. In this way, they will not fall off the frame if you drop them in the water.

I wear prescription glasses and cannot afford to lose them when I am out on the water. I don't really care for the floaties that have a strap that hangs down or runs across the back of your head. I find some of them uncomfortable or I find the dangling string to be a nuisance. This solution is simple and works great. They look a little bulky to others, but for the person wearing them, they are not even noticeable. You can push them back toward your ear and do not see them in your line of sight. They are incredibly light (featherweight) but work great. You only need one on to make your glasses float.I am not crazy how bulky they look to others, but that's a small price to pay for something that works so well and that I forget it there. Nice product! Will be ordering more for others in my family.

These floating glasses holders are a great alternative to the one that wrap around your head. The bands on those can be really annoying and get caught in things. This solves that problem while also allowing for the security of knowing your glasses will float if they do come off. It's a good option to have. The only thing I will say is the description claims these are 'not noticeable'. They are definitely noticeable!
