Nice brush and packaging! Had absolutely no issues varnishing my first oil painting! Worked great with Gamblin Gamvar Picture Varnish - 8.5oz Bottle!

Povrch nalakovaný tímto štětcem vypadá o poznání lepe než u jiných, poměrně drahých štětců. Nejdříve jsem si koupila menší, ale pak i ten širší, lakuji s ním své obrazy na větší plochu je lepší použít širší štětec.

I love Gambar varnishes for my oil paintings but noticed i get brush streaks when I use the satin version. So i ordered thier brand varnish brush thinking it must be a good match. I was disappointed the bristles areso stiff. A softer brush is much better for the job. I filled out return forms and they refunded quickly .

I just varnish an oil painting using this brush and it is the BEST one I have ever used. Clean up was a breeze, no hairs were left on the canvas and popped back to it’s original quality. I am sold!
