Wirkt so, als käme da kein Hälmchen durch. Wir wollten etwas Festeres als das Baumarkt-Vlies. Lediglich beim Zerschneiden gibt es Kunststoff-Fäden, die herumfliegen.

Dieses Unkrautgewebe hat mich absolut überzeugt! Es ist die ideale Lösung, um Unkrautwachstum in meinem Garten langfristig zu verhindern, ohne chemische Mittel einsetzen zu müssen. Das Material ist sehr robust und widerstandsfähig – selbst nach mehreren Monaten im Garten bleibt es intakt und effektiv.Die Anwendung ist super einfach: Das Gewebe lässt sich gut zuschneiden und bleibt stabil auf dem Boden liegen. Ich habe es sowohl unter Kieswegen als auch in meinen Blumenbeeten ausgelegt, und bisher ist kein einziges Unkraut durchgekommen. Gleichzeitig lässt es Wasser und Luft problemlos durch, sodass der Boden gesund bleibt und meine Pflanzen optimal versorgt werden.Ein weiteres Plus ist die UV-Beständigkeit des Materials, wodurch es lange haltbar ist, selbst bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann dieses Unkrautgewebe allen Gartenfreunden wärmstens empfehlen. Eine Investition, die sich wirklich lohnt!

Habe das Gewebe/Vlies als Unterlage für unser neue Hochbeet bestellt um den Unkrautwuchs von unten zu unterbinden. Es ist sehr stabil und schaut gut aus, auch der Schotter der draufkam konnte dem Vlies nicht anhaben, hat somit die Aufgabe voll erfüllt!

Zoals gezegd, veel doek voor deze prijs, maar het rafelen is verschrikkelijk. Na snijden/knippen ligt heel de tuin vol lange zwarte draden. De draden aan de gesneden/geknipte kanten komen namelijk heel snel los. na een paar weken zien deze er ook niet meer uit.

Es lässt sich relativ gut auslegen und verarbeiten. Das Material ist sehr stabil. Das einzige Manko ist, dass es sich an den Seiten sehr schnell auftrottelt und dadurch größere Lücken entstehen. Deswegen gibt es einen Stern Abzug, aber ansonsten ist es top.

I ordered 2 different heavy duty landscape fabrics 6 months ago to compare them, since I was going to need a sizeable quantity to cover the area. They get hot Texas sun, no mulch on top. I simply swept the leaves off it a week ago.This fabric looks great, feels sturdy and has no weeds. The other one is full of small weeds and the surface seems to catch things (it's a "2 layer" one) and I couldn't get it cleaned off. So I've reordered this one. The vendor had them to me in a day, even though I didn't specify this. So definitely my choice! Later addition: The only negative is that it tends to unravel on the edges. I'm going to try to put tape on it to keep it together. other wise it is still holding up. I ordered more; one had a hole, which Amazon replaced quickly. Another was cut at an angle at one end, cutting off almost a foot to get it square, which is what I needed-- probably should have returned this one also. But the original ones are still good, almost a year later.

The first time I bought this product was back in 2014, so I can say it’s been down long enough to know if it’s any good.Although the product has been down for many years I occasionally need to cut a hole in the material to plant a new scrub, and the material seems as strong to cut now as it did the day I put it down. The material is therefore definitely durable and well up to withstanding the conditions for which it was designed, unlike a fabric material I previously used for the beds which rotted away after a couple of years. To give readers an idea of the thickness, I’d say it’s very similar to a tent groundsheet.Birds and other wildlife have a tendency to move around whatever you cover it with whilst looking for bugs, and although this occasionally exposes the fabric to the elements it hasn’t caused any problems. The only annoying thing I noticed was that some previously cut edges had a tendency to fray and stick up. The woven geotextile material is obviously prone to fraying due to the way it is manufactured, so I changed the way I laid the fabric down on my second bed which eradicated the problem (See tips on installing).PROS:• Allows water to filter through• Effective against regular weeds• Easy to unroll and lay down• Can be cut with regular scissors• Comes in a size which should cover most bedsCONS:• Edges will fray over time if you simply cut themTIPS ON INSTALATION:• Weeding is not usually necessary unless you have an invasive type like horseweed, in which case you are advised to treat the area first to eradicate it. It is important to note that any untreated horseweed type weeds WILL eventually come through no matter how much overlapping you do.• Prepare the surface by removing large stones, twigs, and then treading down any lumps of soil by walking over it.• Ensure the edges of the bed you are covering is sufficiently low enough to lay the material and its covering, and still be lower than the grass. If necessary, use a spade to move earth away. If you don’t, you’ll forever be raking whatever you placed on top back off the lawn.• Overlapping material by at foot is sufficient to prevent all regular weeds from coming through. When overlapping the edges you should make sure you do so in the same direction. This way you can throw the bark in the direction of the overlapping material without it lifting up.• Stretch the material before putting in the pegs to secure it. Leaving it loose will allow your top material to get under the material which looks unsightly and can allow weeds to come through.• When doing border edges cut the material 6 inches longer than needed and then neatly tuck it underneath before securing both layers with a peg. Edges which are cut exactly to the border will fray over time and look unsightly.+5 yearClient recently asked me to plant a dozen shrubs into the beds where this covering was installed ten years ago, and the fabric was just as good as the day I installed it.

Seems like a good thick fabric, better than what I was able to get in local stores. We haven't used it yet but I am sure it will work fine.

Das Unkrautvlies haben wir genutzt um den Sandkasten der Kinder (2,20x2,00m) unterseitig gegen das Durchwachsen von z.B. Unkraut oder ähnlichem zu verhindern sowie zu vermeiden, dass zu "tief" ins Erdreich gegraben wird. Das Vlies ließ sich mit einer haushaltsüblichen Schere sehr gut zuschneiden und anschließend unterseitig an die Holzbohlen des Sandkastens Tackern. Seit über einem Jahr im Einsatz kann man rückblickend sagen, dass das Vlies hier in diesem Einsatzfeld sehr gut Arbeit leistet und uns hier voll überzeugt hat.Das restliche Stück haben wir unterhalb eines Blumenbeets eingesetzt; auch hier leistet das Vlies gut Arbeit, jedoch neigt es am Rand stark zum Ausfransen, so dass hier und da kleine Fäden aus der Erde schauen und im Laufe der Zeit "aufribbeln". Das ist keine Katastrophe, hier und da jedoch etwas nervig. Je nach Arbeitseinsatz kann das sehr störend sein. Für uns war es tolerierbar.Ansonsten sind wir mit dem Vlies zufrieden.
