Das 20 Fuß lange Schwingerkabel mit integriertem, reaktionsschnellem Temperatursensor hat es in sich. Es bietet eine Nennleistung von 500 W pro Element (insgesamt 1.500 W), eine Tiefe von 750 Fuß (DownVü) bzw. 500 Fuß nach links und rechts (SideVü), eine Betriebsfrequenz von 455/800 kHz und einen Heckspiegelwinkel von 0 bis 70 Grad. Transponder was easy to plug into our Garmin screen and get calibrated, and fairly easy to install overall.I didn’t realize it can only provide information below 7 knots. Any faster than that and the screen goes blank. I guess the boat “runs away” from the sonar echo too quickly. Also we used our boat to tow kids in an inner tube and the force of the turns and waves caused the bracket to break after less than an hour. In the future I guess I have to go back and rotate the transponder up on its hinge out of the water before getting underway. Good overall but did not meet my expectations, and didn’t see anything in the description to lower my expectations to the reality of its abilities.

The locking nut to go on the end of the cable is a snap on and included in the package. No where that I can find in the instructions does it say that. I returned it and the next one was the same, did some googling and found the answer. Its in a separate small bag, easy to miss.
