Love these pencils. Great variety, nice quality of the graphite. Best of all, they are made in the USA and have been for about 100 years, so I don’t feel guilty that these have come out some slave factory in the nether parts of the world.

The pencils are as such fine, but the charcoal sticks had been crushed into pieces, so all the pencils, the graphite sticks etc. were covered in charcoal dust. Several of the pencil tips were also broken off. I became rather dirty, so everything had to be washed thoroughly in soap and water before the pencils became somewhat clean. It's as usual the shipping and postal companies who don't care to treat the parcels gently. So may I suggest that the manufactor wraps every piece of charcoal, and that the pencils stay unsharpened? If the vendor makes an effort to wrap the pencils a bit better, then the customer can avoid this mess.

Just as ordered - excellent.The carbon black is the blackest black I've ever found and the quality of the pencils are what I was expecting from General. General pencils are very well made and they are one of the very best on the market, a must for any portrait artist that likes working in graphite and charcoal.The white overlays the black and vica versa. You get a really decent blend of the medium. The pencils are centered very well and have great casings, so sharpening won't be a problem.To be honest, the graphite sticks were a bonus but I'll just crush them and use them for powder.All in all I'm very pleased with this product. The delivery was under 24hrs which was excellent seeing as I didn't ask for them to be couriered so quickly.The only problem was one of the carbon sticks was broken but to be honest, they were originally made in the states and had a long journey. It didn't matter though.Really happy, thank you and I would definitely recommend this product.Thanks guys 👍

Super-Qualität, bes. die Kohlestifte (soft u. med.). Allerdings gibt es da einen unangespitzten, flachen Bleistift, der so flach ist, dass man einen besonderen Spitzer dafür benötigt. Das ist ein Wermutstropfen. Wer den Spitzer nicht hat, muss leider auf dieses Utensil verzichten.
