This is a pretty impressive little field pump, when you consider the price. First off, unlike a lot of bicycle gear where it's heavier than advertised, it's actually lighter than listed, including the zip tie mount and zip ties it tips 5.64 oz or 160 grams. It puts out a decent amount of air per stroke and to inflate my 27.5 x 2.25 from flat to 45 PSI, it took much less time than any of my hand /compact pumps other than my Topeak Turbo morph, but that is double the price.As far as function the gauge is accurate, the pump functions smoothly, the foot plate pulls down easily and has a nice recess to get your fingernail in, and it feels like a quality piece of kit. There is only 1 weak point here, the valve changes, it comes in presta, so if you have schrader you will need to change it over and be sure not to lose any parts as they all come out. Many pumps have single piece flip over valves, but this one does not. If you have it set up for your preferred tire type that's great, but if you want to help somebody else out using the other valve type be careful not to lose parts in the field. Considering the price and volume of air this puts out I consider this to still be a 5 star product.

You should have a decent full size pump before you get a frame mounted portable pump.* Pressure gauge is very small and only labeled in 10 PSI increments. When pumping tire on my bike it is difficult for my middle aged joints and eyeballs to bend down far enough to read the pressure with any degree of precision. Given my experience and type of riding, I can honestly estimate about as well by grabbing the tire as I can by reading this gauge. If I was doing more technical riding or cared more about optimizing pressure for speed I would carry a dedicated gauge instead of counting on this one. But if you can't estimate your tire pressure to within 10 PSI by feel, this will help you.* Presta to Schraeder swap procedure is pulling out three pieces from head of hose and flipping two of them around then screwing assembly back together. This is fine for a workbench, but completely unacceptable for actual field use. And this is a portable pump intended solely for field use. You will drop and likely lose pieces, and good luck remembering which piece goes which was out in the mud or the middle of a sportive. You are going to set this to work for your tires and leave it there. If you need to use this for both types of valves in your group, you should set it the Schraeder and then make every rider with Presta valves screw a 99c adapter onto their valves.___Overall:___This frame pump is definitely an upgrade from the extra cheap Aldi aisle-of-shame frame pump I had been running on my all weather commuter, but it's not as good as the significantly more expensive frame pump on my bikepacking adventure bike.

I was able to successfully test the 4.9oz GIYO Mini Floor Bicycle Pump on both Schrader and presta valves. Though the air chamber is small, I could see movement with each pump on a wide tubeless tire as I pumped from flat to around 20 lbs of pressure on the gauge. The gauge is at best an approximation because it is a window in the air tube of only 3/8” so the only markings are in 10s, but afterward, I attached my usual floor pump, and its gauge corroborated the 20lb reading. On a skinny tire road bike, I got to around 40lbs and decided I wouldn’t use this to put in the 100+ recommended pressure, but it would be good enough to get me to a real pump in a bind. When pressed while pumping, the pump handle tended to fold down towards its storage position unless I wrapped my fingers around the handle and pumped with the heel of my hand, which was comfortable enough. The pump head lever is the kind that flips up to lock (despite the picture on the product page); the lock lever is always going to be on the opposite side of the tire from the pump side, so you must be able to work through the spokes (or reach around the tire) to engage the lock. Note that the pump hose is short, to manage the compact size, so rotating the tire valve to a good position is essential. If you need to switch valve types, you must unscrew a cap and two small (one might say tiny if they’re ever dropped) pieces in the pump head and reorient them to switch from one type to the other (presta or Schrader). I didn’t find the positioning of the pieces intuitive and had to retrieve the box where the instructions are printed. I will probably take a picture of the instructions so I can reference it on my phone until I learn how the pieces need to be inserted. [Note to the manufacturer: printing this on the side of the pump or including a sticker would be awesome.] These pieces are both protected from dirt and held in place by an even smaller cap that is attached to the pump with a small leash. At first I thought the push-on cap and the cap that unscrews were one piece, but they separate, making the disassembly and reassembly of the valve attachment easier. The pump includes two mounting options for mounting instead of, or beside, a bottle cage. Each mount weighs a half ounce. The pump itself registered 4.9oz. on our scale, which is less that the weight listed on the product page (which may include the box with all the accessories). There are also two heavy-duty zip ties and a hook-and-loop strap if your bike has no accommodation for a bottle cage. The pump works smoothly and seems to be manufactured well (in Taiwan). The foot peg is probably the most fragile piece, but it shouldn’t receive much stress unless it’s placed carelessly on an unstable surface. Finally, I want to mention that additional credit is due for an all-paper product package, replacing what would normally be an internal plastic bag with a paper one. This pump has all the features of our floor pump, in a lightweight and compact size, and should be all we need when we travel with the bikes. I’m going to rate it 5-stars as a compact, lightweight frame pump with a built-in gauge and two-valve capability, even though some of these features (namely, the pump head conversion and the small gauge window) present a challenge to use in a form factor this small.

Edit 1/28- *After owning this for more time, I found that the foot peg is useful, because it lets me use two hands to work the pump. At first I didn't think it was all that useful. It is a great pump. With a small bottle of slime and this pump, I won't worry about getting stranded with a flat tire on the trail.*This is a light weight and relatively compact bicycle pump that works good. Testing it on my mountain bike with 26" wheels, 100 strokes brought it to 22 lbs of air pressure, which is ride-able on a mountain bike. 200 strokes brought it to 41 lbs of pressure. It took 2minutes and 25 seconds to pump it 200 times. I held the base of the pump in my hand for the first 100 pumps, and then supported the bottom of the pump on the ground for the next 100 pumps. The locking chuck makes an air tight connection to the schrader valve, air didn't even come out after unlocking and removing the chuck. The pump came with two nylon mounting brackets, a Velcro tie down, two reusable zip ties, and two screws for mounting on the water bracket inserts. The pump has a foot-peg, but it is useless because you have to kneel down to pump, and just hold the body of the pump against the ground. The pressure indicator is pretty hard to read, and not really useful, no one is going to over inflating their tire with this pump. Just squeeze the tire and you will know if there is enough air in it to ride home. Note- this did not come with a phone or a large pressure gauge, I used those for my testing.

It pumps air adequately and isn't that heavy for my bike camping trips to attach to my gravel bike. I only have to put about ~30psi on my gravel bike and for that purpose, this works fine. I use a Schrader valve on my mountain bike tires and Presta on my road bike. It works for both, but pumping up the road bike to ~90psi would be a chore so I've regulated this to my gravel bike. It may work in a pinch on a road bike to get you to rideable conditions, but I wouldn't waste my time trying to pump up to the higher road bike psis.7/10 Would recommend it for mountain bikes or gravel bikes that require lower psi.
