We bought 2 different print sets. Overall, they are awesome. Our guinea pigs love them. The reason for one less star is about the cushion mat inside the square tent. When we washed it, it became a mangled mess, see photos. The foam inside all folded up weird on itself inside the fabric covering. You could not fix it from the outside (trust me I tried). I had to use my seam ripper to undo where it was sewn shut to open it, lay the foam back down correctly and sew it back up. To hopefully prevent this in the future, I put a stitch in four places through the whole mat, almost like tufting, see photo after repair. We'll see the next time we wash this if that solved the problem. For the first mat, it went in both the washer and the dryer in a laundry bag designed for pet laundry and it mangled. The second one, we only put in the washer thinking it was because of the dryer; still the same result, so that wasn't it. Thus, why repairs were needed. I would suggest the manufacturer consider putting some stitches in the middle to hold the foam in place when it's washed. If you order one, I'd suggest putting some stitches in yourself before you use the mat. I would definitely buy more sets from them, but I would stitch the foam in place first before I use it.

These hides are so comfy for the piggies, and easily washable for me. They do well in the washer and dryer, and the cushion is removable so you can put in a fresh one when one gets soiled. These don't smell at all, are a good size for chubby piggies, and are fun to see in the enclosure. It's good that you get two items, because your pets will fight over these! Geraldapproves!
