I have several Global knives, but this one is different from the others in terms of its blade. One side of the blade is serrated and the other is smooth. It is easy to sharpen and at the same time these serrations on one side of the blade help with slicing

I've had global knifes for years now they never let you down, had to replace a knife as end had some how snapped of brought same knife so I now exactly how it works but yes awesome knifes very happy ☺☺☺☺

This knife is the perfect utensil for any food prep. It has a comfortable fit in the hand and cuts to perfection.

Although the name of the knife says it is serrated, the photos didn't seem to show serrations, so I was a bit worried about how this knife would work out. I needn't have. It certainly does have a serrated blade, although the serrations are very fine, which is why they don't show up on photos. The serrated blade means this knife is ideal for tough skinned fruit like grapefruits; with a quick pull on the blade the knife will cut in. It is also the ideal knife for things which have tough skins but soft insides, like tomatoes. In fact it's so good at cutting tomatoes that I've deleted Global's tomato knife from my wish list. I think they've accidentally rendered their tomato knife completely superfluous. As ever with Global knives, it takes a few goes to get used to the very sharp blade if you're used to cheaper knives, but once you've got the hang of it, you'll never go back.

Ein Supermesser, das nicht nur rasierklingenscharf ist, sondern auch hervorragend in der Hand liegt. Besser geht nicht - und schöner auch nicht.
