In comparison to the Older version, the newer one feels slightly sluggish even after firmware update.Right of the box, it wasn't inspiring, the seller probably must have sold me the open box item as it was Missing the screen protector filament on the screen, there were visible scratches.Functionality wise, the button feels solid but had to squish a bit more than the older version. The best part about this trigger is the locking mechanism, its smoother than the usual two turn twist. As shown I didn't receive the micro fiber cloth shown here. The battery consumption here is alot higher than older version.Display wise, the older version had better visuals despite being simple.Build wise the newer one is sturdier compared to older version

Works great with Canon D6 and Godox flash, which is what it was bought for. It seems like several years have passed since I bought it, I am happy with everything.

GM! HELLO! GE!

I have experience with the XPro I original trigger and now the XPro II. The more I use the XPro II the more I’m liking it over the XPro I.First and foremost, I am happy to report that that the XPro II does in fact work with Flash Point lights. So, if you’re emersed in the Adorama Flash Point system (like I am), you’ll have no problems triggering your speed lights or strobes.Pros: The X-Pro II has a logical layout that matches the former layout of the XPro I trigger. The screen is easy to read and work with. The XPro II trigger is physically a little bit bigger than the X Pro I and should make things easier to use for those of us with big hands. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but this is a well-welcomed change. All the features that were in the original trigger are also found in this trigger. The Mode/Lock, flash-test, menu, set, and screen zoom buttons are all backlit. Very nice upgrade. There are also some other features and small updates that make the usefulness of this trigger more desirable than the original. The X-Pro II trigger lets you know with a little icon if you are using the ID function which makes it a lot easier to connect to your lights or trouble shoot if you are not wanting to use and ID along with the channel selected.Another feature that is very handy is the scan feature that was implemented on the V1 and AD series of lights. It allows you the ability to setup lights and scan for the best channel directly from the trigger. Again, a very nice upgrade. Also if you are using older cameras or want to use just the center pin to trigger different lights from a camera brand that doesn’t match the trigger, Godox implemented a legacy hot shoe option that allows the trigger to sense that only the center pin is being fired thus allowing you to use any XPro II trigger (C, N, S, F, etc.) with any model camera assuming you’re not intending to use TTL.Godox also implemented bluetooth. The app is easy to use and connects to the trigger quite seamlessly. It allows you to control your trigger from the phone, thus controlling your lights. I don’t know how often I’ll use this feature but one nice feature is that you can implement firmware upgrades to your trigger directly from the phone. That’s a pretty cool feature if I do say so myself.Cons: At first, I was a little confused with the layout of buttons, but I eventually found all the features I was looking for. Probably the hardest one for me was the TCM function. Apparently, there is no longer a long-press key to queue up your TCM settings when you start in ETTL. You have to take a picture; click on the ETTL group you are wanting to change to the TCM reading and change that group from ETTL to manual. And apparently that’s your TCM reading for the picture that you just took. It’s a little bit confusing at first but it makes a lot of sense if you are working with a lot of groups of lights. The menus are tiles now and a little bit confusing in that some of the tiles have text and some are just icons. I know that once I have more time using this trigger, I’ll get used to everything, but right off the bat it was a little bit confusing. Maybe in a future firmware upgrade Godox can implement something where each menu tile is both picture and text, so it makes it a bit easier to find the settings you are looking for.One other point of refinement that Godox can probably fix via firmware is the navigation of some of the menus. For some of the menu options there is a return button that will take you back to the tiles to select a different setting, but some menu options have no choice but to press the “menu” button to get back to the main screen and then you have to press “menu” again to access the tiles. It would be nice if all menu tiles and options had a return button, ideally the farthest button on the right in the row of 4 buttons like on the original X Pro trigger. All in all, I can say that this trigger will likely become my go-to trigger instead of my X Pro I. I think with a little bit of time and a firmware upgrade or two, this trigger will be very hard to beat and will likely become the standard for all Godox/Flash Point users.

Die Canon-Version kam mit FW 1.0 und vertrug sich wohl mit der R5, nicht aber der R6II. Nach Update auf 1.4 klappt es jetzt. So weit, so gut.
