I have purchased two of these helmets in the past year and a half and both had the same issues. First is the arc flash issue that it seems is a common problem with this helmet. Not so noticeable when stick welding (SMAW) or MIG welding (GMAW) because each of these processes generates plenty of ultraviolet light to keep the helmet charged. When TIG welding (GTAW), there is less of a chance the helmet will get the sufficient amount of light to maintain battery level, so at random intervals it will start flashing like a strobe light while welding. This being so bright, by the time your eyesight recovers, your bead profile has already been compromised. The second issue I have encountered is that the headgear stripped out on both helmets and there are no replacements available, hence the reason I purchased a second helmet, which only lasted a handful of times before it also stripped. I tried using a generic version of headgear which didn’t work due to the proprietary build of the helmet. I contacted the company who apparently imports the helmets and after several days of emails they suggested I purchase yet another helmet. No Thanks, was my reply! You’re better served buying a “Hobart” helmet for around $80 that if you break a headgear you can purchase a replacement for around $10. Hobart is owned by the same parent company as Miller and have quality products. Sorry for the long review, hopefully it saves someone else from wasting their hard earned money on inferior products.

Ich habe diese Teil Schweißhelm gekauft das ich gemütlich schweißen kann bin aber enttäuscht leider,Grund ist während dem schweißen geht sensor auf und zu und mann wird dabei verblitz,Ich bin so was enttäuscht von diesem Helm ich werde es zurückschicken.

Der Helm geht offt mitten beim Schweißen aus und mann muss die schweißnat abbrechen.(Wig schweißen)

It would be a very good helmet if it would not lose the headgear setting. After only a few moves (raise / lower), the thing either falls right over your face, or just flies off your head when you try to lower it.

I can’t believe how well this works for the price I pay I welded for many years now. Auto darkening is super fast I like how I don’t have to change batteries it’s rechargeable so it’s some thing I don’t have to run out and get batteries for a small project So I’m changing from three stars to five I recommend

Helm ist mir persöhnlich etwas zu klein geraten , nicht dass er mir nicht passt oder sich nicht einstellen lässt, aber der schutz Richtung Hals ist eher knapp bemessen. Das schutzplastik vor dem Filter hat sich nach innen verbogen , immer noch funktionell aber nicht so hitzebeständig wie man es sich eigentlich erwartet, wenigstens ist ein Austauschteil mitgeliefert. Ladekabel zu kurz um praktisch zu sein, hab mir längeren besorgt. Sensoren des Schweißfilters sind wohl schlecht platziert, bei manchen positionen schaltet filter aus, also blitzt es einen - nicht sehr angenehm. gut ist die größe des filters, die Farbwarhrnehmung und die Kopfriemen sind auch gut. Werde bei der Arbeit wohl meinen alten verwenden und den hier für zuhause . In summe ist er nicht schlecht nur mein alter ist besser und hat nur knapp 45 € - würde ihn nicht noch einmal kaufen .

der Helm an sich ist absolut top, man sieht wirklich alles beim Schweißen........einziges Manko, das Helm band drückt wie irre und das bei meinem kleinen Kopf, wie muss sich das dann erst bei einem größeren anfühlen............ich habe aber die Hoffnung das es sich noch gibt

First off, I am not a professional at all when it comes to welding so keep that in mind. The helmet I was using has been very abused & mistreated so I decided to get this new one. Took a little bit to get the adjustments right for the settings. I'm sure I could have found a "how to" video on YouTube if I would have been patient enuff but I was excited and wanting to get started asap. Didn't take long at all to figure the right settings for the welding I was doing, Flux core wire feed. Oh how impressed I was that I could actually see the entire area where I was working. I love how large the opening is for visibility. And the head gear is pretty comfortable to have on my head. Didn't feel awkward or heavy. And I honestly did not realize how much better one can weld when they can actually see the work space while they're welding. I love this helmet and highly recommend it. The only thing I can think that would make it better is for some sort of place where one can mount a tiny light facing the work area because I've found that to be helpful for me personally.
