I wasn't sure what to expect seeing as it's a 3rd of the price of the Samson set (I use the Samson ones at work) but they showed up and I was very pleasantly surprised. The finish on the steel isn't great but I don't care about that, they're smooth, no burrs, and have nice rounded tips.The thing I like most about them is that they're in 3 pieces, and the front and back thread onto a double ended nut at the 2/3 mark. I'm surprised that wasn't listed in the item description because it could be make or break to some but I love it, it means I can collapse the longer ones down to make packing easier. Also the back is completely hollow down to the nut, making it much easier to stuff your working end into than the samsons I'm used to. If you tend to twist your fid while you work it I could see them unthreading mid-splice but that's easily fixed with a bit of loctite.Very pleased with the purchase. I'd recommend them to someone looking to keep their kit small and I'd buy again if I lost them.
