Je les ai testé sur plusieurs balances de précision et ces minis poids sont précis au 100 ème.

My set of calibration weights arrived today. I've just tested them, and not only is each weight dead on accurate to the 100th gram (cg), i.e. dead on accurate when weighed on my precision cg scales, but so is any combination of these weights (including all seven of them together) too! That is, to my mind, quite remarkable for a "cheap and cheerful" €10.99 purchase and I am more than chuffed!! What is more, they come in a neat little plastic box so you can't lose them (otherwise, very easy to do with, for example, the tiny 1.00g weight ☹). Perfect!

It is a fine thing to have a nice scale, but a scale is only as accurate as its calibration. So, how do you verify calibration? Simple. You use a known calibrated reference, because your scale is only as accurate as your calibration source. In the past, quality calibration weights were often priced rather unreasonably. This set seems to break the barrier for lower cost but still acceptably precision calibration sources. There are seven weights in the set, and they can be combined in various ways both to calibrate to particular values, and to check calibration on less sensitive scales by making larger or smaller steps of change to find the scale's minimum resolution. This is particularly useful on electronic scales. I have found that cheaper electronic scales are often quite sloppy in their accuracy, which may not matter on an envelope, but might matter greatly when mixing paints, chemicals, or measuring quantities of very tiny parts to do bulk parts count by weight. In those cases you really want to know if it is 20 grams or 21 grams, and these little weights will help give you confidence in your scale. They come in a nice little plastic case and take up very little room. I keep them in my toolbox, and use them to double check my freon scale, which has an accuracy down to the limit of these weights' resolution. So far, so good. So go ahead and splurge and get yourself some calibration weights. You'll be glad you did! I am.p.s. Don't miss the set of weight handling tweezers built into their holder on the bottom of the plastic case. Handy, but not too obvious. :-)5 stars. Highly recommended
