These Polarized Sport Sunglasses from grinderPUNCH are stylish, comfortable, and provide great visibility.Design: These large wraparound sunglasses feature a single lens protected by a translucent purple frame, giving them a very stylish look. The lens is polarized and UV protective, and it includes small slots on the lower outer edges, likely for improved airflow and to reduce fogging. The outer side of the lens has a reflective purple sheen, but from the backside, the lens has a normal darkened color with a slightly bluish tint. The temple arms sport the grinderPUNCH logo in silver letters and are secured to the frame with long screws just under 0.5" long. The nose pads are formed by a single piece of flexible plastic and secured behind the bridge area of the frame with a single short screw. The quality seems good, and these should be fairly durable. The package also includes a light blue drawstring bag to protect the glasses.Size: The outer edge of the frames is 6" wide x 2.25" tall at the widest points, with a thickness just under 0.25". The temple arms are nearly 0.5" tall and just under 0.25" thick near the frame, tapering down to about 0.25" tall by 0.15" thick near the ears.Usage: These are very comfortable to wear. The nose pads fit well, and they are lightweight. I tried them on a sunny day with a low-angle sun, and they provided great visibility with no glare. I did notice that when facing away from the sun, the purple frame tends to fluoresce somewhat. However, it's not a big problem, and I'm sure after wearing them regularly, I would barely notice it.Note: Due to their large size, they may not fit in some sunglass cases. For example, these are too large to fit into the overhead storage slot for sunglasses in my car.Final Thoughts: These sunglasses are large, and the bold purple color may not suit everyone's style. However, they are very comfortable and provide good eye protection with a wide, clear view.

I have a larger than average head (have to wear 2XL-3XL sized hats that can be rare & hard to find in stores) & these glasses still fit me without any issues.-They don’t put any pressure on the sides of my head & I barely feel them when I’m wearing them, since they actually are very lightweight.-The nose clip makes them comfortable on the nose & helps keep them in place, if you move a lot.-They do provide a decent protection against sunlight. When the sun is bright enough, it can make me squint a lot, even if I’m not looking nowhere near towards it. This removes that discomfort.-They have a very nice & stylish look to them. They don’t look great on me & I think it’s really just because of my huge head. They look great & stylishly oversized on my sister but on me they just look a little small. The only real issue that made me remove 1 star is that they are not completely reflective as shown on every pictures of the listing & are actually pretty see-through.

Overall, I am happy with these sunglasses. The lenses have a nice color to them, and the "arms" do, too, blending well with the lenses. The nose pad is comfortable, and I appreciate it being a little further back from the front of the glasses, since that will avoid some oils and smudging from getting on the lenses from your eyelashes or from accidentally touching your face. It will also help avoid some fogging, as well, because of this.I knew these would be larger glasses, but I didn't realize just how big they would actually be. They're huge! I'm a 6'2" man and they are larger for my face than I would prefer, and larger than most other glasses of this style that I've tried on. I haven't put a hat on with the glasses on yet, but I have to assume it will be very difficult/uncomfortable to try to put a hat on "the normal way" and not have the glasses interfere with the brim. This isn't a bad feature of the glasses - just be aware of the size. The lenses do an excellent job of making things appear more detailed and crisp. I am guessing that's the polarization. Looking at some branches outside, I could see the twigs and little sticks of the branches clearer than I could with my naked eye. I'm not too sure the glasses will do a great job with the actual sunshine brightness. If you are riding or playing a sport where you're looking into the direction of the sun, I think it will help a little, but maybe mot as good as some other brands. I took a picture that illustrates the slight difference between the tint of the lens and no lens.Overall, I am pleased with them. They seem to be of good quality, and they certainly hit the look they're going for.

What I noticed immediately, was just how light they are to wear. Once on, you really can forget you are wearing them!A few small points I should make, regarding features and quality. I like the fact that both the side stem hinges and the centre nose piece, are held in place with Phillip screws. Those screw heads are also the kind where you can use a staring blade screwdriver too, but the Phillip head is preferred. Why is that a feature for me? Simply because, if ever needed, I can tighten them up.The hinges have quite a "snap" to them. They are either fully closed, or fully opened. As they approach that position, the stems are quickly brought into position. The stems are long and straight, like many sports glasses. About half of each stem is a different material that the front of the stems or the frame body. They seem to provide a bit more grip, but if they do, it's minimal. The front nose piece means that the sunglasses stand off from your face. The nose piece fully supports the weight of the unit - such as it is.The front lens is a single element, and it is large. It is also curved, offering a bit of a "wrap-around" effect. There are also two small, slits on the outside bottoms, apparently for helping to element fogging. The entire frame is made of a plastic that is heat resistant and has a flat-orange finish. The frame also completely surrounds the lens.I like the wrap-around effect of the lens. I feel it provides more side protection from road debris when cycling, or in fact, any sport activity. It's just safer. By the same token, I have always been a big fan of large aperture sunglasses. I like to have a good measure of UV protection from all angles, and if the aperture is too small, I am going to get a lot of sunlight from all kinds of angles! One feature I am surprised at, is the colour of the lens. I was pretty sure that the view through these, would provide a marked view of the world being orange. But I was wrong. Somehow and for some reason, the view is quite neutral. In fact, I find it does warm up the view slightly, but not a much as I would have thought. The optical clarity is brilliant! I am sure it must be partly due to the slight increase in contrast the colour yellow can give a viewer, and this orange is getting very close to that yellow.Bottom Line - A truly great view, when looking out of these! Extremely lightweight, very comfortable and certainly eye-catching to others looking at you, this is impressive eyewear!
