100cm 2 floors wow this cage is huge for my hamster but the bigger the better they say , very easy to put together but you may need help as it is tricky to stop it all moving in the assembaly , i think its lightweight the base and its good you can take the metal sides apart for storage etc,any hamster would apprciate the size and space to not be stuck in a tiny cage which is cruel ,upgraded my cage as hammy is bar biting hope this will stop it ? as i also let my ham free roam so she is used to getting out daily /my hanster really is going to have a shock how big his new house is x

This cage is a good size, however, the slots in the platforms were badly miss aligned and I had to carve new ones so that they would fit. There were also two missing parts (the outer clasps that keep the wire of the cage attached to the base) Fortunately I had an old cage with clasps that I could use, but this would be a real headache for someone who doesn't have this. I will say that there are way more positives than negatives.The roof opening is really convenient as it can be partially or fully open, which is great if you have hammocks or hanging toys. The side opening is much larger than expected, which means that it is far easier to handle your pets or top up their food and water.I like that it didn't come with a wheel, as the ones that come with cages are never the right size, and are a waste of space and just get thrown out.The cage is massive, and it makes it much easier to see your pets, and the black wire isn't as distracting as the white wire. Over all I'd recommend this cage for mice, but not very young mice as they'd get out through the bars.

My daughter wanted a Syrian hamster for her birthday and after a lot of research we opted for this cage due to its large size and more neutral colour.The first one arrived badly damaged, luckily a replacement was sent the following day but getting the damaged one picked up was a bit of a faff!Sadly it’s a much darker grey that the pale grey pictured - this is dark grey on the base.Pros - it’s huge! It fits in a 30cm wheel, the base is deep enough for filling with substrate, for the hamster to burrow.It comes with 2 plastic bowls, 2 ramps and 2 wooden platforms.It’s difficult to put together. The sides should slide in to the corner plastic pieces - one did, the rest had to be forced.Once assembled it’s great - the top fully opens and there also a side hatch.Our hamster seems very happy. It makes me really sad to see all the tiny cages for sale. This is perfect and, in my opinion the minimum size for a Syrian.Overall, would recommend!
