I've been using panel line pens for year, but they've never been that effective. Now that GSI Creos and narrowed the tip down to the size of a panel line gap, it works perfect. I find I'm reaching for this pen more than my bottle of panel liner, brush and enamel thinner. It's less messy, zero clean up, and just as accurate.

Works well enough but I went through 2 of the markers just to do one figure, and the 3rd marker didn't even work

I do both modeling / kit bashing and art on a fairly regular basis. These panel liner pens are pretty well known in modeling circles, and they allow you to get into little cracks with precision when needed. They also work quite well for drawing, the few times I have used them, although I have mostly been reserving them for modeling as the tips are longer than usual and I don't want to mash them down with my ham-fisted drawing style.I am not sure if the ink in these is a special formulation. I have noticed they seem to write without hesitation on plastic and resin cast models and every kind of paint I've thrown at them. There is a reason these are pretty much the most well know panel pens in the business.They also came with some little sticky tabs like you'd mark pages with, as it seems all Japanese stationary does these days. They are fine, though I've only used a couple of them. Honestly, while bonuses are nice, I'd rather just save a few cents on the pens all things considered, but hey, no big deal.

These are the fine line gundam markers for panel lining, but they're given in this kit with a little package of marking tabs that are self adhesive. Similar in size the the "sign here" sticky notes we've all seen at one point or another. I find these always write well, regardless of the situation as they're just super fine tip pens. You can definitely still use these for writing. I'm not sure but I usually get about 3 or 4 kits our of one pen depending on how much lining I am doing. Couldn't tell you how long you can write with one as I've never done it. 👍
