Pattern easy to follow, but found the wool quite difficult to use. I did this as a second go at crochet.

I ordered this for my granddaughter for her 10th birthday, as it seems crochet is the latest trend amongst her school friends.She is very interested in home crafts and this is another interest she can do easily…and the fact she has a product at the end to display with a sense of pride.A nice pocket money gift for the upcoming darker nights…keeping them off the screens and learning a new craft, can’t go wrong.

Got this for my daughter who enjoys these sort of crafty things and she loves it. Kit contains everything needed to create the little penguins inside box, even the stuffing. There are links to some online videos which they can follow to help them if they have never crocheted before too.

This kit comes with quite thick t-shirt style yarn, which is fine but not usually what you'd use for amigurumi style crocheting, which leaves some weird gaps as you go but that's fine you can just crochet tighter. What I find really weird is instead of giving you the option of two different types of crochet hook size you're just sent two 4mm hooks which...you're never going to need two of the same hook unless you plan on unspooling all of the yarn, measuring it, then cutting it exactly in half so two people can crochet at the exact same time. The kit would make more sense if they sent two different sized hooks so you could see the difference the hook size makes.The stitch markers are your typical ones that you can get in bulk for a few quid and do the job, you get 5 of them in this pack. The snippers aren't the best quality but they also do the job which is great.
