This paper finally enabled me to do some of the techniques I had wanted to try but didn't work on others. It is absorptive but not thin. Included are special buffer sheets between each page which do a good job of protecting the sheet under them. It does become somewhat difficult to paint on the latter pages due to the spine being a bit tough, but it's not a huge deal. Still, as with art and baby supplies, you have to ask yourself what merits the sticker shock
