Fits very well on my 28mm lens which came with no lens hood and the brand make is far more expensive.Well made and stops light hitting the lens unless shot into the sun.Nice accessory

This is roughly half the cost of a name brand Voigtlander LH-1 lens hood, and just as good. This is a niche item and still not cheap, but it’s solid, built from metal and looks sharp on my camera (I lost my hood somewhere in London whilst out doing street photography and never got around to replacing it until this popped up by sheer luck).It’s machined with perfect precision to fit your lens just as good as the original. Nice matte black finish, it does the job. Perfectly suitable and far better value replacement - let’s face it, at the end of the day this is a piece of metal shaped like a ring to screw on your lens - very simple and effective so why pay more?
