After some issues with a regular floating dip tube not sitting in the wort correctly, I figured I'd try this. It sits perfectly and just works. You could weight down a regular dip tube but this one takes the guesswork out of it.

I bought a bunch of 6 gallon kegs and these floating dip tubes. I brew the beer and pump the wort right into the keg (sometimes no chill method). I ferment in the keg under pressure 5-10psi. Once fermentation is complete I move the keg to the fridge, and serve out of it. Simple and no chance of cold side O2. I'm making great beers with this method and this dip tube works great!

Works as advertised! I use the FLOTit 2.0 with 3L pressure rated conical fermenters. With such a low volume I need to minimise beer loss when transferring to kegs. Prior to using the FLOTit my transfers would always get clogged with dry hop remnants, with them I am able to transfer nearly everything without issue so far and no need to let any O2 into the fermenter to unblock.

Fitted in less than a minute. No faffing about. So much better than the old silicon style floats. Pulls clean beer with no air. Honestly.. dont think about it.. just buy it!I will be getting one of these for every keg.Top delivery from Amazon to UK also.
