I had read the review stating that one blade would last about 12’. So I took my chances that the 3 would complete the job of removing the grout in my kitchen. Whoever installed it left spacers/levelers above the grout height. These held up very well and I was able to wear them down vs having them break. My finished floor looks fabulous.

This tool was literally a lifesaver for cleaning up my grout joints in my porcelain tile with 1/16 inch Self leveling spacers. As many people describe with self leveling spacers, when you remove them, the plastic bits that have some mortar around them stay protruding outside of the tile. This grinding disc for the Dremel ate through the plastic and the mortar. It took me a few hours to diligently go through roughly 210 ft² kitchen tile, but this tool literally made the grout joints perfect. The quality is very good, I was able to use only one of the grinder discs. This was definitely worth the money. This is a genuine honest review, I’m very happy with it.

Each one worked well for about 12 feet of grout removal, rotating the tool to use the entire edge.

This product wore as well as any other carbide blade I have used. I comments about blades dulling quickly, initial performance drops quickly with any blade, diamond or carbide. Once I hit the 2nd-tier performance if you will, it maintained that performance for many linear feet. I was removing very hard tile basin grout from 1-1/4 inch mosaic.SPECIAL KUDOS TO HEMUNC CUSTOMER SERVICE. After using up 2 blades and discarding them, the 3rd blade broke after less than 5 minutes, bad welds, only one was secure. I contacted Hemunc through Amazon and they emailed me a little more than a day later. They would simply send me a 3 blade replacement, so in effect I got 5 blades for the price of 3. So I got on chat with Amazon and once I worked through to an agent they were able to send me the replacement 3 piece set.I have manufacturing and quality experience, people talk about 5x9's quality (99.999%), but very few processes are sufficiently automated to achieve this, most often you top out at 99.95%, if there are human touches in the process, then 99.5% is typical. At that rate you get 5 rejects for every 1000 pieces, that's 5,000 upset customers for every million pieces produced. You cannot test 1,000,000 pieces so you sample, but sampling is only good if rejects are uniformely distributed throughout the process and that is unlikely, they usually cluster. So for people who like to talk smack about products or how much better one is over the other, have you used the same number of the same blade in the exact same circumstance to truly compare quality? And after that you have to apply what you paid. Manufacturers can improve the process or test and reject more, but you would not want to pay the price for that, so manufacturers produce where they can make a profit and stay in business including customer service costs -- customer service is where it is at.So complain and give 1-star ratings if you wish, I'm happy to pay 1/2 the price for a blade that is truly a universal fit than Dremel, and to use 6 carbide blades for the price of one diamond blade, it's simply a question of what you get paying as little as possible.
