Bought this urn, for when my time comes. The colours are beautiful and bright, lovely decoration. Lovely quality. Delighted with it. Not out of place as an ornament.

Although it’s pretty, it’s definitely not new, and has a smell as if it came from the dead. Maybe a stinky smelly basement or something. Not right to sell as new if it clearly is not.

I was forewarned by the previous commentors about the stench of the velvet presentation box, and they weren't wrong! The urn is truly beautiful, weighty, and of high quality, but box smells horribly of mold or mildew! I Googled ways to remove these smells from velvet, and many recommended spraying with distilled white vinegar. I soaked it several times with that and placed it on my porch to air dry in the breeze. This did NOTHING! The awful smell has permeated an entire room in my home since then. I did not try any perfumed sprays for fear of making the odor worse, as if that was even possible. Unfortunately, a drawstring bag included in the box smells just as bad, so I will have to hand craft something for gift giving. I had hoped perhaps this problem might have been remedied since the earlier barrage of very negative comments, but that did not happen. I would encourage you to buy this urn, but ditch the box before ever bringing into your home!

This urn is beautiful!! The quality is impressive!! Pretty large with a screw top lid. I was very pleased!!!
