These notebooks are perfect! I ordered these for an end of the year cheer team gift and the girls loved them!The colours on the front showcase the little page bookmarks and sticky notes inside. I didn’t know they were there but the kids loved that even more.I bought some cheer ducks and pompoms to accessorize the books.

The small journals look exactly like they do in the ad and it is very nice. I would recommend it.

These little notebooks manage to be a combination of impressive and disappointing. The gold lettering that makes up the inscription on the front cover is very pretty, especially contrasted against the flat black of the cover itself. To me, it gives the notebooks a touch of elegance. However, secured alongside the pretty front cover is a pen that seems to be made of cardboard. As far as I can tell, the outer shaft of the pen consists of a cardboard tube, just like the tube in the middle of a roll of plastic wrap, or toilet paper, but of course much smaller. And even though the front cover looks very pretty, it feels very flimsty, not the cardstock weight that one expects as an outer cover. Inside the cover, the first "page" consists of a good supply of sticky notes, some in regular size, and some the small size used as markers on documents and files. The rest of the notebook brings no surprises. The pages are lined. The spine of the notebook is spiral rings, so pages can be ripped out if needed. And even though the pens look and feel . . . well, "cheap" is the word that comes to mind . . . they do write nicely with no skipping or smearing, a fine, black line, smooth and easy. After that initial examination, the first notebook went right into the basket of my walker, to be my everyday Note to Self, and general reminder go-to. Incidentally, the sticky notes do stick well, and the colour variety on the smaller ones will be helpful for sorting things like Urgent, Interesting, New, etc. Before handling them, these notebooks look nice enough to serve as personal gifts. And I still think they can be acceptable as party favours, or stocking stuffers. They meet my personal needs perfectly: small enough to fit inside a purse or some pockets; enough pages to last through several months of daily jottings; good writing paper; pens that work smoothly and have their own spot; a generous supply of always-helpful sticky notes; and a pretty cover, with a message that just might lift my spirits on those "down" days. I am (mostly) pleased with this product.
