Drone acheté fin 2023. Début Mai 2024 un message d’erreur est apparu « programme anormal » et impossibilité d’utiliser le smart phone et de faire des photos / vidéos. D’autres commentaires font état d’un tel problème. J’ai contacté par mail le SAV qui m’a assuré que les techniciens allaient corriger le bug, et 2 jours plus tard après réinstallation de l’appli HS GPS V5 tout fonctionne. Je suis très satisfait de la qualité générale du drone et de ses performances en regard de son coût, de l’amabilité de Valentina et de la réactivité du SAV.Drone purchased at the end of 2023. At the beginning of May 2024 an error message appeared “abnormal program” and it was impossible to use the smart phone and take photos/videos. Other comments mention such a problem. I contacted after-sales service by email who assured me that the technicians would correct the bug, and 2 days later after reinstalling the HS GPS V5 app everything works. I am very satisfied with the general quality of the drone and its performance in relation to its cost, the friendliness of Valentina and the responsiveness of the after-sales service.

This is my first drone, so no comparison. First off it came safely and securely packed in it's own case, with foam to protect it during shipment. Case is nice quality as it's made for the drone and each component specifically. Instructions are easy to read, QR code for the app, and link to video tutorials make learning to fly fairly easy. Although all I have done currently is hover and move around the yard (not great weather today) it is very responsive and easy to maneuver. I saw someone's post earlier about spare parts, but mine came with spare blades, screws and screw driver....so not sure if that's a new addition. Aside from that, I like the compact design, ease of instruction and use and look forward to some more challenging flights when the weather gets better!!! Great first drone for the cost.

We needed to get a better look at some problems on an inaccessible roof, and inspection companies quoted high numbers just to look. Buying a quality, entry-level drone which could do the job was an easy decision. After reading reviews of a number of under-$200 drones, we chose the HS175D, and are very satisfied with our decision. Amazon delivered in less than a day, and the drone was flying, well controlled by a novice operator, within an hour. After a bit of practice, the drone took high-definition photos of the roof in question, and the phots were of exceptional quality and fully met our needs. In the following days, we flew the drone just for the fun of it, and found it more than met our expectations gained from reading the specifications. This drone does exactly what the manufacturer says it does, nothing more, and nothing less. It is very easy to learn to fly it. Best to steer clear of trees and other high structures of course. One important learning--if you think you are losing control, let go of the control sticks. The drone will simply stop moving and hover where it is, while the operator regains his composure. While we are totally satisfied, there are a few comments which we will pass along to other new operators. This assumes you have downloaded the software for the drone according to the instructions provided, and have initiated that software on your phone.1) For best photographic results, a separately purchased SD card is recommended. After taking photos or videos, it is best to remove the SD card and insert it directly into a computer (using an adapter that comes with the SD cards). Download the files into the computer, but do not delete them from the SD card. Then reinsert the SD card into the drone, and use the drone software to delete the files.2) And there is a bug. SD cards formatted by the drone itself have some problem that prevents a Mac computer from reading them (although a PC will read them). The fix is simple: Format the SD card with the computer, not with the drone. If using a Mac, choose the MS-DOS (FAT) option.3) While taking video with the drone, if you attempt to take a still picture, the video will stop. You'll need to restart it. Not surprisingly, you cannot take video and still pics at the same time. Further, we found while using an iPhone along with the manual controller, as recommended, that the "Take Video" button on the controller will start video, but it will stop on its own about a second later. So, you should use the "Take Video" button on the phone screen instead, which works as you would expect: Press once to start video, press again to stop.4). If the top-right Botton on the phone screen (marked with a circular star) is pressed , a small screen with Chinese characters appears on the phone screen. I have no idea what these characters mean. But pressing this icon on the screen does bring up the controls for the maximum height and distance you wish to allow, and includes a "novice" mode switch, which keeps the drone quite close to the operator.While this fairly inexpensive drone does not have the 2- or 3-axis gimbals or automatic obstacle avoidance of pricier drones, it certainly is a solid performer. Battery life has been about 20 minutes, and the automatic return home on a low battery is a very good included feature.We must also comment on Holy Stone's service personnel. We've had several questions for them, and found them to be available, exceptionally accommodating, and willing to take the time to answer a newby's questions (probably for the N-th time). Well done, Holy Stone!So, if you are seeking a solid-performing drone for a reasonable cost, the HS175D is worth considering.

Die alte Holy Stone Drohe, insbesondere die Akkus, gaben den Geist auf sodass der Wunsch meines Kindes aufkam eine GPS Drohen zu besitzen. Nach langer Recherche haben wir uns für dieses Model entschieden.Grund war u.a. das man diese Drohne ohne Drohnenführerschein fliegen kann. Und die Anschaffungskosten von ca. 200 € waren auch noch finanzierbar. Für wenig Geld bekommt man sicher bessere Drohnen, aber bei einem Gewicht von >250 gr. braucht man dann auch den Drohnenführerschein.Mittlerweile Pflicht ist auch eine Haftpflichtversicherung und die Registrierung beim Bundesluftfahrtamt. Da die Haushaftpflicht keine Luftfahrzeuge enthielt habe ich eine "externe" Versicherung für 40 € / Jahr abgeschlossen. Diese zusätzlichen Ausgaben sollte man mit berücksichtigen!Die Drohne kommt in einem kleinen Koffer, perfekt für das mitnehmen unterwegs. Zwei Akkus mit extra Ladeadaptern (USB) sind auch dabei plus Ersatzrotoren. Da die Rotoren nicht geschützt sind kann jeder Crash zu Beschädigungen führen. Deswegen ist die Drohne meiner Meinung nach eher was für schon geübte. Anfänger sollten/dürfen natürlich auch über (aber dann auf freiem Gelände).Etwas kompliziert ist das Setup - Die Drohne möchte gerne vor dem Start kalibriert werden, das dauert dann seine Zeit. Ohne GPS Empfang (Starke Bewölkung) fliegt die Drohne nur eingeschränkt (max. 6 m Höhe, ca. 20 m weit weg)... das macht deutlich weniger Spaß. Mit GPS fliegt sie wunderbar, ist auch recht stabil. Fotos und Filme haben gute Qualität, bessere Drohnen machen sicherlich auch bessere Aufnahmen.Was ein wenig überraschend kam. Beim fliegen mit GPS ist der Startpunkt der Home-Punkt, d.h. wenn der Akku leer wird oder die Verbindung abbricht dann rast die Drohe zuerst 20 m steil in die Höhe um dann zu ihrem Home-Punkt zurück zukehren. Wer das das erste mal erlebt verfällt regelrecht in Panik falls der Home-Punkt mittlerweile ein paar hundert Meter weiter weg liegt. Also, den Startpunkt sorgfältig auswählen bzw. nur von dort aus starten/steuern.Ich kann das Komplettpakt voll empfehlen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und das auch noch schön in einem passenden Koffer. Die Qualität der Drohne ist auch gut, Ersatzteile etc. sind auch beschaffbar. Preis-/Leistung optimal.

Dies ist unsere erste Drohne und muss sagen, dass wir für den Preis fast zufrieden waren.Mit einem Köfferchen, womit man sie einwandfrei Transportieren kann, ausreichende Ladkabeln und einem 2.Akku, eigentlich Perfekt für Anfänger, wie uns.Nach den ersten Flugversuchen im Innenbereich, haben wir es draußen versucht. Hat auch prima funktioniert, kleine Rundflüge im Garten. Die Verbindung zwischen Fernbedienung und Drohne war immer gegeben. Auch mit dem Smartphone. Sie kam auch immer zum Startpunkt zurück.Nach den ganzen Flugversuchen haben wir uns entschieden das Ganze auch mal auf einem großen Acker (freie Sicht, keine Hindernisse) zu versuchen, mit dem Ausgang, dass die Drohne weggeflogen ist und nicht mehr zu finden war. Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten unterwegs und haben die Drohne gesucht, ohne Erfolg.Das ist sehr ärgerlich, wir hatten nichts anderes gemacht wie vorher auch.Die Drohne hat auf nichts mehr reagiert.Nach ein paar E-Mails mit dem Support, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir eine neue Drohne bekommen. Das finden wir prima, ein Dankeschön an den Support.Sobald die neue Drohne eingetroffen ist und wir wieder unsere Flugversuche unternommen haben, werden wir wieder berichten.

Vorab sei gesagt, dies ist bereits meine zweite Drohne von Holy Stone. Ich hatte zuvor eine HS720 die allerdings wegen der Neigung sich selbstständig zu machen, umgetauscht wurde.Nun zur HS175D. Alles machte wieder einen recht guten Eindruck. Die Verarbeitung, das Zubehör usw. Nicht ganz so hochwertig wie bei der 720, aber ok.Beim ersten Flug war auch alles gut. Sie hielt gut Position im Schwebeflug und war gut zu kontrollieren.Als ich meinen ersten Versuch Indoor startete, musste ich leider feststellen das die Drohne ohne zuvor GPS Kontakt gehabt zu haben, sich nicht in Betrieb nehmen lies. Die Motoren ließen sich erst gar nicht entsperren.So sollte das nicht sein. Bestätige mir auch der Kundenservice.Also wieder, zum zweiten Mal eine defekte Drohne von Holy Stone erwischt. ….. wie hoch ist hierfür die Warscheinlichkeit ?? Spricht nicht gerade von der guten Qualität der Produkte von Holy Stone.Mir wurde darauf hin, mal wieder, entweder die Rückgabe angeboten, oder man wollte mir 25% des Kaufpreises als Amazon Gutschein geben wenn ich mit dem Fehler leben kann.Letztens nahm ich dann auch in Anspruch, da ich eigentlich eh nie indoor fliege.Soweit, so gut — Heute dann bei schönem, absolut windstillem Wetter, der zweite Versuch draußen. Zuerst alles super. Aufgestiegen bis auf 50m. Einmal rundum Schwenk gemacht dann wollte ich wieder sinken. Als die Drohne bei ca. 15 m war, auf einmal Verbindung abgebrochen. Lobe Bild war zwar noch zu sehen, aber die Drohne reagierte auf keinen steuerbefehl mehr und blieb regungslos in der Luft stehen. Dann auf einmal stieg sie wieder schnell auf, von alleine !!Flog dann seitlich und im Kreis und ließ sich dann auf einmal wieder steuern.Sowas kann in bestimmten Situationen sehr gefährlich sein !!!! Außerdem habe ich nun kein Vertrauen mehr in die Drohne !!!!-Heute, einen Tag später habe ich nochmal einen Versuch unternommen.Zuerst wieder alles gut. Dann nach ca. 1 Minute wieder Verbindungsabbruch und keine Gewalt mehr über die Drohne.Ich flog allerdings zu diesem Zeitpunkt so tief das ich sie „einfangen“ und ausschalten konnte.Als ich danach erneut einen Versuch starten wollte kam Keine WLAN Verbindung zwischen der Drohne und meinem Handy (IPhone 12mini) mehr zustande. - zumindest auf dem iPhone Display. Denn obwohl ich angeblich zu nichts eine Verbindung hatte, stand die Verbindung zur Drohne !!Ich konnte sie normal steuern und das Livevideo sowie Aufnahmen waren auch möglich. - Also hier scheint wohl mehr als nur ein Problem zu bestehen.Ich bin jetzt nicht sicher, am liebsten würde ich das Ding zurück geben und mir was ausgereiftes kaufen (DJI) was dann aber auch das Doppelte kostet.Alles sehr schade. Ich hatte mir mehr von Holy Stone erhofft. Gerade bei den vielen positiven Bewertungen. ( denen ich so jetzt nicht mehr wirklich traue).Nachtrag :Ich habe mich entschieden die Drohne zurück zu schicken. Und mir eine der Konkurrenz zu kaufen.
