I have a big warmblood and some reins I had gotten were just a tad short. I was looking for a way to extend the reins because I really like them and couldn’t find them in a longer size and these absolutely fit the bill.I was a little concerned that the elastic would dampen the communication/responsiveness to the bit, but that has not been an issue. If anything he’s probably happier while I’m still learning to have quieter hands. They seem good quality and have held up well so far (a few months of riding 5-6x per week).

They made my reins longer and ever though they have an elastic band , it doesn’t lay flat orImprove the connection.

I bought these to add length to my favorite reins and they’re perfect for that, but if I’d bought them for the elastic specifically I think I would be disappointed. They are very easy to stretch out and I don’t think would have much effect on riding with contact.

These worked great to lengthen a set of reins that were too short. Saved me from having to buy another set. The leather is good guality.
