U use it as NAS device, own linux - fedora/redhat/centosThis is silent compare to prev version gen10 (AMD)Low profile ... nice ... 4x LAN, USB3 and dome 3.1 (5Gb and 10Gb) ... why front is 3.1 and back 3.0 ... i don't know ... HPE funnyMinus ? ... only 4x SATA (prev model have 4+1 SATA - 1x for CD/DVD taht i use for SSD disk) ... here is needed USB2SATA convertor (for small disk, that need only 5V and no extra PSU ... notebook disk )Only 1x PCIe - full size that is good, sec. is usable only for ILO module.At the end, more plus that minus ... i buy ILO module too - detail HW error log , silnet, smaller, speeder (4x better CPU that prev model in GEN10 - AMD cpu) ... i am happy, i only rome HDD from old, put to new, boot systemrescuecd as installed linux, but use my old root, regenerate initramfs (dracut --kver) ... and rebootI use 10Gb LAN in PCIe slotRAID - only SW raid, i never use pseudo HW raid ... linux SW raid is best, because is possible move it to any computer/serverMy FS: BTRFS ... why? because it is similar as NetApp .. u use cp --reflink=yes, snapshot, local snapshot, file snapshot, selective compression ... NFSv4 and KVM on another servers + NAS for my linux desktop (data + backup another local RAIDs )

Ottimo prodotto! installato vSphere e funziona molto bene. Consigliato per chi vuole lavorare su VM.

Habe VMware Hypervisor ESXi 7.x von HPE via iLO5 auf dem intern angeschlossenen USB-Stick installiert und wie zu erwarten: es läuft einfach.Das iLO Modul sollte man aber auf jeden Fall einbauen, sonst macht die Einrichtung nicht wirklich Spaß. Schade, dass es nur als optionales Zubehör erhältlich ist und nicht gleich mit eingebaut wird.Die Einrichtung der virtuellen Maschinen war dann auch kein Problem mehr, wenn man sich in die Bedienung der Oberfläche von VMware eingearbeitet hat.

It's compact, it's quiet, yet provides a lot of power in that small case. It's perfect as a home server / NAS. It has an iLO functionality which is really neat (remote console, monitoring...). One PCIe slot is available to upgrade to even faster networking (if proper 4 x 1G is not enough) or to add fast NVMe storage. If you need both, it's possible, but you need to get creative (search for QM2-2P10G1TA or similar). I don't particularly like that it has an external power brick (who does?), yet... it's so compact, so you just have to forgive it. After about a week dealing with it, I really can't complain much, this nice little server seems like a great investment. And as usual, quick delivery by Amazon (I guess depending where you are).

Une machine construite pour les pros mais parfaitement adapté pour les particuliers pour en faire un NAS ou pour y installer un hyperviseur.Utilisation avec TrueNAS Core et 3 VM pour l'ensemble de mes services.Upgradé avec un CPU Xeon E-2246G pour avoir 6 cores / 12 threads et un total de 32Go de RAM ECCAttention à l'alimentation limitée à 180W si vous souhaitez faire des upgrades.

Um pequeno servidor, silencioso, baixo consumo, fácil de montar e /ou alterar a configuração. Espaço para 4 Discos 3,5. CPU aceitável. Excelente como Fileserver ou ChiaServer. Perfeito para um pequeno escritório. Recomendo!

Excellent serveur même si je ne consulte pas le Pentium gold, trop limité, j'ai fait un upgrade e2236 sans pb! Concernant le fait de mettre des disques certifiés hpe, c'est du grand n'importe quoi, ça fonctionne bien avec n'importe quel disque! Il est petit , et plutôt costaud ! Je recommande a fond!

Lo compré hace dos semana. El producto ha llegado correctamente en fecha.He podido instalar Vmware 6.7 sin problemas además soporta la nueva versión 7.El equipo es muy silencioso aunque tener en cuenta que teniendo un único ventilador y un diseñador pasivo tiene unas temperaturas elevadas. (71 grados BMC sin trafico)
