If you need a replacement (and who doesn't)...This version (black) lasted me a few days shy of 3 years. Craftsman absolutely (seems so anyway) designed this part to fail. It always breaks at the base of the handle. I've ordered another replacement (went through 3 red ones since I got the mower) with the intention of having a local shop cast me one in metal. I was able to model the area that goes in the box, but modeling the curved handle itself is proving to be elusive and 3D scanners are too $$$.

The original lever on my machine got old and brittle and broke. I bought this fitment was perfect installation was easy save myself a lot of money without having to take it to a shop
