Leider ist die Auflagefläche verzogen.Des weiteren ist der Spiegel etwas zu kurz, denn wenn man es in einen 45 Grad Winkel stellt, sieht man (wenn man gerade und auf Augenhöhe reinschaut) den oberen Rand des Tabletts nicht mehr im Spiegelbild - er ist einfach zu kurz.

Beim Zusammenbauen des Teleprompters soll man die Scheibe so einsetzen, dass die stark spiegelnde Seite (markiert mit einem blauen Aufkleber) Richtung des Tablets zeigt. Auf meiner Scheibe war kein blauer Punkt und nach zahlreichen Tests habe ich zwischen Seite 1 und 2 auch keinen Unterschied erkennen können. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Support von Ikan hab es nur die Antwort, dass eine Seite mehr spiegelt als die andere. Das würde man sehen. Ich kann es aber bis heute nicht erkennen.

Kleiner kompakter Teleprompter, der alles hat was man braucht. Einzig die Fernbedienung war etwas tricky zum Einstellen. War aber nach einem Telefonat mit dem Hersteller erledigt.

Preso da poco, quindi giudizio ancora parziale. Costruzione solida e direi discretamente adattabile a macchine di forma diversa. Ho aggiunto una piastra ad attacco rapido Manfrotto (557) perché il fissaggio della camera con la vite risulta davvero disagevole. Il vetro è di buona qualità, molto nitido nella lettura (occhio a montarlo nel verso giusto), non mi sembra produrre alterazioni cromatiche significative. La cuffia si fissa tramite magneti e ha una manica da stringere attorno all'obiettivo.Cose da tenere presente:- Non è facilmente o rapidamente compattabile per il trasporto- Buona funzionalità anche con iPad mini (o tablet di quella misura)- Il piano di appoggio del tablet non ha un sistema di cambio dell'angolatura, questo limita il posizionamento della camera rispetto al soggetto. Problema relativamente semplice da superare inserendo blocchetti di gomma o spessori sotto il tablet... però....- App da acquistare a parte (12 euro)- Il telecomando funziona bene, lievemente contro intuitivo l'accoppiamento con il tablet via Bluetooth, manca una funzione di riavvolgimento rapido del testo che sarebbe molto comoda.

I received my teleprompter and was pleasantly surprised! I had some nervousness from previous reviews however, this thing is awesome. Also, there were some great youtube clips of people setting it up so I felt a bit more confident about purchasing it. First of all, the glass and the tablet mount came already assembled and that meant that the issue of knowing which way to place the glass was solved. The rest of the assembly was easy and the remote worked perfectly too. Lastly, the foam in the box is great and I will keep it around and likely purchase the waterproof case to be able to transport it and store it as needed. It is obvious that Ikan has made several changes from original reviews that have been posted over time. And that is also awesome.

Very solid product. Easy to use, seems durable and sturdy. Tripod mount and connection for the camera to the base is stable and well-constructed. Packed in a foam box insert that apparently also fits a travel case. The glass arrived with a small crack in it; they said that I would receive the replacement in a couple of days. My only suggestion for improvement would be better (significantly better, and more explanatory) instructions. It covers only the basics, and seems to assume a level of familiarity with products such as these that not everyone may have. A discussion of how to achieve balance would have helped me (and not cost me 45 minutes of trial-and-error). That said, though, the product itself - and customer service - get a 5-star review. Expensive and worth it.

When I originally bought the PT-Elite Teleprompter I had an older iPad. It worked great with that device but when I got an iPad Air and gave my old iPad to my son the holder no longer fit correctly. Getting this device fixed everything. Works great with the iPad Air. Removing the old iPad holder and replacing it with the Universal tablet holder was a breeze. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has the Elite Teleprompter and wants to future proof the device for different tablets.

Tough to tell which way to install the glass. Both sides looked the same to me under close inspection. After I installed everything and hooked it up I found I had it backwards. Would be great if they attached a small easily-removable sticker on the 'front' side. Otherwise it has worked fairly well. They have a free version of their app that will work if you are an Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber, so I saved the $6 or $7 for the full app.
