Ilford ILFOTOL Benetzungsmittel 1 Liter Zur Verwendung als Endspülung, ideal für schnelles Trocknen, ideal für Film- und Fotopapier, hilft gegen statische Elektrizität zu bekämpfen. Ilford ILFOTOL ist ein nichtionisches Benetzungsmittel, das als abschließende Spülung vor dem Trocknen von Filmen verwendet wird. Es kann in allen manuellen und mechanischen Prozessen eingesetzt werden, um eine schnelle Trocknung zu erleichtern und so das Risiko von Trocknungsspuren deutlich zu reduzieren. ILFOTOL kann auch als abschließende Spülung vor dem Trocknen von faserbasierten Drucken verwendet werden, was ein schnelles und gleichmäßiges Trocknen fördert. Es kann auch zur Reinigung von Glas- und Kunststofflinsen und Filtern und als antistatische Behandlung verwendet werden.

Wird als Reinigungsmittel für die Schallplatten Wäsche eingesetzt, ich habe lange gesucht und scheine jetzt das richtige gefunden zu haben, Preisleistung passt, kein überzogener Preis wie bei anderen Produkten die extra für die Schallplattenwäsche verkauft werden.

Ich benutze das Mittel in meiner Plattenwaschmaschine. Dadurch wird die Oberflächenspannung reduziert und die Schallplatte wird gut mit Wasser benetzt. Top!

I am not a chemist. I just use it to clean vinyl in an ultrasonic machine. It's good enough for that.

Having had a disaster using a commercially available record/vinyl cleaning solution I felt it was time to try making my own cleaning fluid. There are many recipes available on the web. I wanted a simple gentle fluid that was easy to mix and cost effective. The base of the solution is distilled water, sometimes Isopropyl alcohol and nearly always a wetting agent. Without a wetting agent it is unlikely that the solution will get deep down into the tiny record grooves. A variety of products are recommended on the web but I felt that using one suitable for delicate film was probably the best.Ilford's "Simplicity" product was a good starting point, cheap, well packaged and easy to dispense.I found the product very easy to use but was most impressed by its' wetting capability, no smears or dry "bubbles" of dry areas on the record surface. However what concerned me most was the need for a product that reduced static on the vinyl surface. I am most impressed with how this product has dealt with reducing, indeed removing static from my records.This wetting agent does not "foam" and works well in my Degritter ultrasonic record cleaning machine. It worked equally well in my manual Knosti RCM.Having very satisfactorily tested the Simplicity product I have now purchased the 1 litre bottle. it is worth noting that a little goes a long way but I have a lot of records to clean.
