For the 170 I paid for it you can't get more performance for the dollar. This thing is a power house, the current Gen flag ships are of course faster but the i7-12700kf is plenty for competition level fortnite players even under stock settings, over clocked you get really get the frame rate up high on cpu based games such as fortnite. This cpu definitely has the gaming horsepower, with this cpu, 64gb of 7200mhz ddr5 and a 3060ti it runs DCS (digital combat simulator)beautifully and I mean beautifully with no bottle necking at the cpu, if anything the 3060ti is the bottle neck with this system now. Runs very efficiently with a simple 120mm aio providing the cooling, no need for a 240mm aio unless you are running extreme demand for extended amounts of time with it over clocked to the max, in that case yeah you will want a 240mm aio. A good set of intake and exhaust fans and a good 120mm aio and cooling will be of no issue for most people. This processor really is a great value considering the extremely high performance it's capable of yet at a great price and not having the need to run a 300 dollar cooling system to keep temps in check. Really great product at a great price and delivered quickly by amazon!

Me llegó en completo estado, muy fácil de instalar en la mobo Asus que compre. Realmente es muy rápido y las temperaturas bajas junto con el disipador ak620 white de deepcool de dos torres. Soporta juegos pesados en alta calidad actualmente jugando a 1080p junto con una 3060 8gb oc

Brauchte halt lange bis es da war (genau 1 Monat) aber das warten hat sich gelohnt Leistungsstarker CPU!!

I got the i7 12700Kf with RTX 4060 ti and there wasnt a bottlebeck at all so i really recommend paying this if it was for good price

I'm upgrading from an old AMD FX 8320 chip and that was an 8 core 8 thread 3.5ghz cpu. i could overclock it to 4ghz no problem but it was DDR3 1600mhz ram. This thing crush's that chip like there is no tomorrow. I have this chip paired with Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5200 RAM, a Asus TUF Z690,1X Fire Cuda 530 Gen 4 NVMe SSD, Alseye M120D cooler and a case with 7 fans, crushed 4tb data file transfers across old drives in about 12 hours, never got hotter then 62C in any of my bench tests and maintains an average temp of 35C while general use. startup is 0-15C until you heat it up first time then it doesn't seem to drop below 32 until a shut down for a while. I had it off all day on second day, turned it on and logged in, got distracted on my cell phone for 1 hour then looked at temp, and it was 12C. checked 3 different sources all read same. then i ran a game for 15 mins and it got to 43C. i stopped the game and left it for an hour to see what it did with nothing really running. it immediately dropped to 36 when i shut game off within under 5 seconds.After 20 mins of it pegged at 36 i maxed out the fans then took the hour to drop to 32 to see if it made a difference. 0 change. anyway Skoocum chip and it isn't even the best you can get right now. plus gen 14 is right around corner ;)
