Der Aufroller ist an sich ganz in Ordnung. Leider wird er mit Kunststoffschrauben am Rahmen oder Rohr befestigt. Diese werden, offenbar durch Umwelteinflüsse, schnell spröde und brechen. Zwei Schrauben bzw. die Klemmkörper sind schon gebrochen. Kann man nachbestellen. Der Hersteller weiß offenbar von dem Problem.

Da es immer wieder erwähnt wurde, dass diese Elemente nicht auf einen 4x2 Meter Pool passen sollten, haben wir uns es trotzdem bestellt und wollten es sozusagen in der Länge anbringen, weil es ja angeblich für die 2 Meter Breite zu kurz sein und nicht passen sollte.Wir haben es trotzdem auf die Breite getestet und siehe da.Die Solar Rolle kann sehr wohl an einem 4 Meter langen und 2 Meter breiten Pool angebracht werden! Ohne irgendwelches aufwendigen und handwerkliches kürzen.Durch das Stecksystem und ineinander schieben der Elemente kann es so installiert werden, dass es passt ohne jeglichen Aufwand. (zwei Elemente bleiben übrig!)Bild ist natürlich angefügt.Noch dazu sind wir sehr zufrieden damit!

Ich verwende die Rolle für eine Wärmeplane für ein Stahrahenpool 2,74x5,49.Die Rolle ist einfach aufzubauen; da die Rolle bis zu einer Poolbreite von 4,88m einzusetzen ist, bleibt natürlich ein Element übrig.Was mir etwas Sorgen gemacht hat war, dass die Stahrahmenpools nicht starr sind, sondern im Gebrauch und abhängig vom Wasserstand ein Spiel haben. Da aber die Rolle ebenfalls flexibel ist, passt das super!Die Halterungen, die die Rolle mit der Plane verbinden sind Plastikclips mit ca 40 cm Schnur. Da ich alle Halterungen auf die Breite von 2,74 verbaut habe hoffe ich, dass die Plane nicht ein- oder abreissen wird.Ein kleines Minus (ich wüßt aber nicht wie es anders lösbar ist) ist, dass die Rolle ca 10 cm vor dem Ende des Pools aufgebaut werden muss und daher gibt es einen Abstand der von der Plane nicht abgedeckt ist, wenn man die Plane nicht komplett abrollen will (will ich nicht, damit mein Skimmer die Oberfläche reinigt und nicht die Plane anzieht).Ich denke auch, dass sich im Winter so auch die Solarplane recht einfach auf der Rolle verstauen lässt. Oder man zerlegt alles und spart so Platz :-)Für mich ein gut überlegtes Produkt!

Die Rolle lässt ist sich sehr leicht montieren und ist gut verarbeitet. Die Größe ist gut bemessen und reicht auch für den ganzen Pool. Leider ist das auch das Problem beim auf und abwickeln. Dazu braucht man etwas Übung und muss die Rolle mehrfach links und rechts passend fixieren. Am besten geht es zu zweit. Auf Grund der Bauart der Pools ist das leider nicht anders möglich.Preis-Leistung top.

First ever piece that arrived amongst all my pool related order. It was easy to connect the roller poles. But you would need a good idea of how long you’d need. It is not something you can fix to a length whilst you haven’t got the pool. As we have assembled it without the pool we anticipated how much poles we would need. We actually didn’t use one of the poles (we got the 18ft x 9ft x 4ft bestway pool).As we have a 500micron solar sheet of 20ft x12ft we knew we have to cut it down. So we ended up mounting the roller on a make shift stand, longer that the width of the pool, so we could spread the solar sheet on top of it. We measured and cut it in this set up. Once we got the size we wanted we just adjusted the length to attach it to the bars of the pool. And that’s it. It’s easy to roll in and out. Also, as our sheet is quite thick we needed to punch a whole so that the locking bit of the clip would work. But once this is all done, it works well.

I love this pool reel! It was super easy to install. You place each Of the end pieces over the pool frame and manually tighten the two screws for each side. One side is a lockable reel, and the other side is an end piece. Next, you insert the adjustable poles to determine the correct width to fit between the ends.A tip is to measure across the pole to evenly space out the six cords that will be clipped and punctured through your solar pool cover. I attached my first cords 12” from each end to give the solar cover some space to adjust and not get caught on the ends as you reel it up. Then I divided the remaining space by four to place the other four cords. The first 20’ of length worked really well. The last five feet had a little resistance from the sheer volume of the solar pool cover 12’x25’ and catching a little bit on the ends.My daughter helped me to insert the pole, add the puncture clips to the solar cover, and reel in the first time. Now, one person can easily wind it up or unwind it. I always leave about a foot wound up just so that I don’t need a second person to help me to wind it back up.This reel is designed for a rectangular pool. I didn’t realize that my pool is not perfectly rectangular, until it arrived. My pool has rounded corners, which doesn’t work well with the design. I simply placed the reel and end on the last straight part, opposite each other, before the curve started. I lost about one foot from my pool, but it still is worth it to me.I was concerned about ordering something made out of plastic. I don’t know how long it will last, and I hate to add more plastic to our environment. However, it is super thick. It’s at least 1 1/2” thick in the narrowest areas.I’m tired of rolling up my solar cover to use my pool. I’ve been manually rolling it up for 16 months. I finally decided that I was worth the price of making it easier for me to use my pool. I’m so happy that I treated myself! This reel is so easy to use! I use it nearly daily.
