This has been objectively the worst KVM switch I've ever owned. The USB3.1 cables need specific voltages for the ports to be used for Keyboard/Mouse passthrough. If you want to use this with a device that has USB 2.0 or earlier, you will not be able to unless you use a powered USB hub in between to remedy that voltage requirement. This has caused a lot of hair pulling as to why it would work on my gaming desktop and not my other devices, like my Mac Pro 2013.Not only the USB passthrough issues, but I have to periodically reset it by power cycling, due to the transitions between switching taking an abnormally long amount of time. Save your money and just buy something else, anything else, but this KVM switch.

After a few months, the unit started to have issues syncing up to the monitor signal after an extended period of off time. I now have to wake up my computer 5 minutes in advance before I can start to do work because it would take about that long for the KVM to fully wake up and sync to the input signal. After it is up and running it works, but if you let it go blank for a few hours, go get yourself a coffee

KVM dedicato principalmente per i videogiocatori. Appena montato ho avuto grossi problemi nel far riconoscere il mouse e la tastiera. Successimente ho notato che vi era disponibile un aggiornamento, e anche qui ho avuto delle difficoltà nel riuscire ad aggiornarlo in quanto è abbastanza complicata la procedura per l'upgrade, un susseguirsi di spegnere e riaccedere la periferifa, staccare e riattaccare i cavi.Oltre gli slot USB per mouse e tastiera vi sono disponibili altri due slot USB per metterci i Joystick (ne avrei preferito un'altro in più per un uso generico) e uno per un utilizzo generico.Di tanto in tanto, se si usa una cuffie wireless, quest'ultima dopo qualche ora di gioco smette di funzionare e bisogna riavviare il KVM.Inoltre è impossibile spegnerlo, almeno che non si stacca completamente la presa.Carina l'app mobile, permette di gestire alcune funzionalità del KVM. Spero ne rilasciano simile su PC in quanto sarebbe più comoda da usare.

I wanted a KVM switch to make it easier to switch between my personal PC and my work PC. Occasionally I have a 3rd PC hooked up. I got it connected today, and it works well. I have 3 PCs connected to currently. Two of them are using DisplayPort to HDMI cables (switch is HDMI only), and video is great (full resolution on Dell 34" ultrawide 3440x1440). I'm using a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse with no issues (hotkeys to switch PCs work as well). The only hiccup I encountered is that my iPhone 14 Pro won't connect to the switch via Bluetooth using the app (phone doesn't seem to find the switch). I used an old Android phone I had sitting around. Mostly I just wanted to turn off the distracting LED ring on the front of the switch.

As a big disclaimer: YMMV. I had the intent of running this with my desktop, work laptop, and mini pc home lab. There are 5 usb ports in total, however two are reserved for mouse and keyboard and two are for game controllers exclusively. I wanted to hook up a mouse and keyboard with a mic and camera to the kvm so in the extra USB port at the top right, I plugged in a USB hub to have availability for 2 devices. Getting these setup with the app was pretty easy. I had an issue with the steps that customer support solved, as it ended up being a server issue on their end.That’s my setup experience , and it was generally easy to figure out what could and couldn’t be used in some ports. As for my usage experience, this is where I started having issues. If all I’m doing is using a web browser, the kvm works perfectly. However, I wanted to use this for games and discord on my desktop, while using it for meetings and calls on my work laptop. The mini pc doesn't need the microphone and camera but it was available if for some reason I needed it. I can’t speak to the experience on my laptop since I haven’t tested yet, but my desktop cannot handle games and discord with this kvm. There are certain situations where the mouse will periodically skip even though it is recognized as connected, and the mic will do the same and cut out for a second or two while I’m talking. I also have experienced a full kvm reboot in the middle of playing games and have lost access to all of my connected peripherals. It may have something to do with the number of windows that are up, or even the types of windows I have up, but I was disappointed with this inconsistency in the product, especially given its price point. I’ve tried using it as intended with 3 devices and the same results have occurred.Overall, for $200, I shouldn’t have to worry about weird performance issues like a mouse that doesn’t move on screen, a mic that doesn’t maintain full availability when I’m on a call, and even full reboots from the kvm ALL of which feel like they happen inconsistently. I expect full uptime from all the devices I have connected to it, especially since I barely use the monitor output feature this provides. I’m past the return window unfortunately so I will have to keep it, but again you may have a different experience. It’s very possible the components and devices I have create enough translation issues that causes this to happen. If anything changes with the usability, I will update this review.EDIT 2/17/2025: Bumping up my review from 3 to 4 stars. I am pleased to say that it was a PEBCAC issue (Problem Exists between Computer and Chair, aka user issue). I cannot remember the issue as its been a couple years since I wrote this, but the devices I used are basically the same, however I am almost never experiencing these issues. I've decided to use the monitor output feature some more and this is what keeps me from recommending a 5 star, though again YMMV. I have a 38" ultrawide with a 3840x1600 resolution, which places it somewhere between the 60hz - 120hz availability for the kvm. The cable is also a HDMI - DP adapter cable that plugs into a docking station with its own limitations on throughput. I have no idea what any of the specs are from start to finish but I do know that I can get 85hz with this setup. The issue with this though is that my screen flickers inconsistently (between 0 - 120 minutes) for about 5 seconds. I have noticed that regardless of whether a kvm profile is active or not, the video output cable is burning hot at the kvm port. I'm not sure if these events are related, but they are happening and that's what keeps me from giving this 5 stars. To reiterate, the issues from before are basically nonexistent! Make sure you've got quality cables, hubs, and peripherals to avoid what I went through.
