Leider nur 4 von 5 Sternen da die Verarbeitung und die Qualität nicht an die alten Zangen ran.Nachgekauft da die selbe alte leider abhanden gekommen ist beim Umzug.Ansonsten ein gutes Produkt!

For undersized, rounded off, rust fused brake lines and bleeders, this little tool is usually my go to now.The only time it wasn't of use is on my rear drum bleeder valves, but that's not the tool's fault, there's just no good way to get on them since the wheel cylinder is basically sunk into the rear backing plate.But I still love this locking plier. In fact, I bought the 7LW and the 10LW to go with this 4LW so I now have the set.The Good:Irwin is a well known brand name with a reputation for quality tools, this 4LW is no exception.Feels sturdy in the hand, even for its small size.Crisp action on the locking mechanism.Hex key slot on end of knurled adjustment knob for further tightening.Good grip on rounded off nuts/bolts/fittings/bleeders.The Bad:Nothing to Report.

When it fits, which is often but not always, it's very good for holding on to ball joints so they don't spin while you're trying to unscrew the nut without risk of damaging the ball joint!

Bisher jede feste Bremsleitung damit aufbekommen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Ohne diese Zange, hätte ich wohl stundenlang neue Bremsleitungen bördeln müssen.

I have used Vise-Grips for years. When you really have to lock onto something, they can be very useful. While working on my brakes, I had several corroded bleeder valves. I had absolutely stripped one while attempting to remove it. After checking somethings out online, I decided to try this type of Vise-Grip, that grips 3 surfaces of the nut not just 2. I ordered all 3 sizes because I wasn’t sure which size would fit best in the space I had to work with. Well, I am really glad that I did. The Vise-Grip locked onto the bleeder valve and EASILY removed it! Wonderful product! I am happy to have the 3 different sizes of this type of Vise-Grip in my tool box.

After doing a little research online, I learned that this was the BEST tool out there to remove rounded brake pipe connectors. The reviews I read were all completely true. Delivery was fast, product is TOP QUALITY, and my siezed brake pipes were freed within 5 minutes of it's arrival. A great addition to my toolbox, and one that saved me from a large labour charge in a garage on this occasion, and many more I guess. :)
