The "family" is welcoming less babies and I plan on this being my last quilt. It will be put away until I welcome a great grandchild. My arthritis is getting worse in my hands making it more difficult to complete a project. These quilt tops are always well stamped with easy to follow instructions.

Created my own color combinations just because I want to/have to use up my extra large assortment of floss and I was not too happy with the choices chosen by the designer. Also used only 2 strands of thread for the stitches not 3 as recommended and replaced the french knots with plain old statin stitches. The whole project has been very well received by my family members and has them quarreling with each other as to who will be the lucky one to receive it as a birthday gift!!

It will be very beautiful....when I get it done. I normally like the cross stitch. This has every kind of embrodiery...not just cross stitich. It will go a little slower because of that. Hope to get this done for a granddaughter's wedding. Hope to do another in very pastel colors. This one is bolder colors.
