I used this dye for a dress that was way too bright of red. It did work to mute the color down, however, caveat to sensitive noses- it stunk- kind of like cigarette smoke! I washed the dress twice and the smell did not come out. I'll have to douse myself with a strong perfume the next time I wear it.

Ich wollte ein weißes Kleid mit der Farbe grün einfärben. Das Kleif besteht zu 100% aus Polyester, daher habe ich mir etwas Sorgen gemacht, es könnte beim köcheln auf dem Herd eingehen.Ich habe das Wasser mit Farbe in einem sehr großen Topf kochen lassen und sehr sorgfältig umgerührt bis sich die ganze Farbe aufgelöst hat. Ich habe das ganze dann auf etwa 40°C abkühlen lassen (Waschhinweis auf dem Kleid war max. 30°) und da dann etwa 40 minuten in die Farbe gegeben. Ich habe das Kleid durchgehend bewegt und im Topf umgerührt. Es ist ein Minz-Grün geworden, mit dem ich sehr zufrieden bin! Allerdings würde ich empfehlen, die Lösung bevor man den einzufürbenden Stoff reingibt, einmal durchzusieben und die Ränder des Topfes von der eingetrockneten Farbe sauber macht, denn auf dem Kleid sind einige dunkle Flecken entstanden, die ich darauf zurückführe, dass noch einzellne kleine Klümpchen im Topf waren.Alles in allem hat es super geklappt und ich bin happy mit dem Ergebnis:)

they tell you to boil water put your polyester clothes and dye in there and - DONT DO THAT let it sit in warm water for about an hour or so but the boiling will ruin your clothes. i had to throw away my dress completely cause it practically melted the fibers of the fabric

I have used this guy successfully in the past to Dye Plastic tools for my knitting machines. All of the dice previously used had good color. This one shows a bright green on the package and it comes out black. Very disappointing as I wanted to the bright green color. It looked more like camouflage green when you add the water to the dye pack. But then not all of them or two to color in a liquid form. I was happy with all of the other ones except this one.
