We like to visit the Lake District whenever we have free time and anyone who knows this area will be well aware that the weather can be somewhat changeable with several seasons in a single day on occasion.A nice lightweight pot of trousers that are cool in heat but dry quickly are a must have and these appear to tick all the right boxes though currently the weather has been unusually dry and warm.My wife is a UK size 6 and these are true to size, not too tight nor too loose and comfortable enough for a long day on the trail.How I Rate- ***** Don’t think, just buy it!- **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this.- *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives- ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits.- * Run for the door!

In terms of manufacturing quality the trousers are made to a pretty good standard. The fabric is nice and has a little stitch to it. My model for the day liked them and found the quite airy and liked how well they packed down. As walking trousers they are a bit basic in terms of construction with no luxury features such as reinforcement on wear and tear area.

I was slightly disappointed with the quality of these, there is a lot of loose threads on many of the seams.They zip off well enough and you can figure out by checking seams which leg reattaches where, although many top brand versions of similar trousers usually have a L or R indicator so you immediately know which side is left or right. The green colour is a dull green brown.Size wise size 6 was slightly on the large side for a Uk size 10 and I expect size 4 would have looked better.

Lightweight, comfy, and dry quickly. The zip-off feature is super handy, and the UV protection is a big plus. Great for hiking or travel! true to size!
