These help to keep rain from falling into the window. I'm assuming readers know why they buy these so my only beef is that although they are very thin to fit into the rain slot between the window and the frame, they may restrict window operation. On my Land Cruiser they fit easily and the window closes 98% at the top. On my Maxda 3 the window leaves a small gap at the top causing wind noise. So much so I removed it from the driver's side leaving the other 3 in place. I even sanded down the plastic edges to make it easier for the window to travel up and down, but couldn't get it to close fully. Bottom line is if you have strong power on your window motors, you may be ok.
