Havent even been able to use it because the app is garbage, and since I missed the return window, I am stuck with this paperweight of a landfiller. Garbage app so I have 0 clue on if this this actually works because the app is terrible. Great job Joby... this works about as well as the gorillapod is able to stand after a month of slight use..... not at all.

It is pretty cool. Though a little too heavy.The app for it is easy to use. The app could use a GoPro setting.

It's an interesting productworks exactly as stated however there is a constant vibration as it tracks from one side to the other tried with a phone gopro and sony rx 100all of my shot footage was essentially unusable without additional stabilisation. sort of defeats the object!Would not recommend for any critical shooting

As one of the other reviewers mentioned, you can certainly attach a GoPro or similiar device to this and then set it with your phone, but you're going to end up making the video on your phone. I didn't realize that was the case, nor that a company that developed something as clever as the Gorillapod would develop an app as lousy as the one you need for this. I wouldn't buy this again. It's so much trouble to work I've barely used it in the four months since I bought it.
