I’ve bought so many paddles. Prior to this I play with proton series 3 and proton roadrunner. This paddle gives me the reset I needed in the transition zone.

I got this paddle two weeks ago, and so far I’m quite happy with it. I come from a tennis background so I was drawn to the Agassi/Graf endorsement and intrigued by the unique shape. It definitely has a more forgiving sweet spot and I have a lot of responsiveness in my dinking. I played with the new Ben Johns Perseus paddle from Joola (14mm) this week as well and by comparison the Graf (16mm) is noticeably heavier without adding any weighted tape. I’m finding a lot of confidence in driving from deeper with the extra topspin. The one thing that I’m a little concerned about is that in 2 weeks of playing (about 8 different play sessions) the grit has worn noticeably; I personally prefer a paddle with enough texture to put on some spin, so I’ll have to see how long that grit lasts and if the smoother surface affects play.(The Amazon listing says the grip diameter is 4.25 inch but the Joola site says 4.125 inch, not a huge difference but the Graf grip is slightly smaller than the Agassi).

I felt that this paddle increased my accuracy in the mid-range shots to the angled dinking. The power was a little less but the control is much better, I was using the Joola Ben Johns and no paddle surpassed that, but I really like this Agassi paddle. After the first week of playing I now see about 5 of these paddles at the courts.

I've been trying a lot of paddles, mostly from Selkirk from the Luxe to the 007. I've also got the CRBN True Foam. I liked all of them. As long time tennis player and fan of Agassie, I was interested in trying this paddle. While I liked the other paddles, I absolutely love this one. For me it's the perfect former tennis player paddle. It's got the Joola pop that they are known for when you want it, but by far the biggest thing it adds to my game is control on drops, dinks and resets. I can't really explain how this paddle improves my game there, but it does. Huge fan. Happy to have finally find my paddle.
