Although this is a good price and decent quality, sadly it is not a valance sheet as described.A valance sheet sits over the mattress and acts as a fitted sheet as well as a skirt to cover the base. The description specifically states that this is what this is. It is not.This is a platform valance. It ONLY provides the skirt to cover the base, sitting under the mattress rather than on top of the mattress and an additional sheet is needed.Very disappointing as we specifically need a combined item.A decent purchase if you just want the valance, but don't buy it if you want a proper valanced sheet..

Good value for money, quite thin but good considering price. Once washed and ironed, looks just fine and does the job it is intended for!
